Khalil Shakir

Khalil Shakir

BUFWR • #10

Khalil Shakir caught all three of his targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 win over the Cardinals.

Every time the Bills needed a big play, they went to Shakir. The 24-year-old bounced off tacklers on multiple catches, including on his 11-yard touchdown catch where he crawled over a defender and into the end zone. The Bills are going to spread the ball around this year, which will make it hard to predict which receiver has a big game, but Shakir appears to be the most talented of the bunch and has the trust of Josh Allen. The downside is that he played the third-most snaps of any Bills receiver in this game at just 53.4 percent because the team loves how good of a blocker Mack Hollins is. Until that snap share rises, Shakir is a boom-or-bust WR.
