Rock Ya-Sin

Rock Ya-Sin

DETCB • #33

Lions signed CB Rock Ya-Sin, formerly of the 49ers.

Ya-Sin joins his fourth team in four years after previously playing for the Raiders, Ravens, and Niners over the last three seasons. The former second-round pick appeared in 13 games for the 49ers last season but appeared on just 63 defensive snaps while totaling three tackles and two pass breakups. He’s only 28, but Ya-Sin has started just 10 of the last 38 regular season games he’s appeared in since 2022. He’s strictly a depth signing at this point, and may be best suited on special teams.
