Patrick Mahomes completed 16-of-27 attempts for 154 yards and two interceptions in the Chiefs’ 28-18 Week 7 win against the 49ers, adding five rushes for 39 yards and a touchdown.

The Chiefs were once again run heavy, logging 38 rushing attempts with Kareem Hunt leading the way. Kansas City lost another pass catcher, JuJu Smith-Schuster, who aggravated a lingering hamstring issue. Mahomes powered his way into the end zone for a short rushing score in the fourth quarter to avoid another catastrophic fantasy outing. The offensive injuries plaguing the Chiefs and the team’s stellar defense likely mean Mahomes won’t be asked to do much this season. He has one touchdown pass over his past three games. Mahomes should be considered a superflex-only option in Week 8 against the Raiders.
