Jordan Whittington

Rams ruled out Jordan Whittington (shoulder) for Week 8 against the Vikings.

Whittington was downgraded to a Wednesday DNP after practicing in a limited capacity on Tuesday. Earlier this week, Sean McVay suggested Whittington would have a “a little bit more of a workload” in Week 8, following his Week 7 decoy deployment. The Wednesday downgrade and preemptive inactive ruling suggests Whittington may have suffered a setback. We will provide an update as soon as possible.
