Khristian Boyd

Khristian Boyd

Saints selected Northern Iowa DT Khristian Boyd with the No. 199 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Boyd (6’2/329) possesses ideal size for an interior lineman and is not moved easily off his spot. He’s a six-year prospect who is among the older players in the class and will be 24 at the start of this season, making him one of the older prospects in the draft. Boyd is a solid run stopper who has shown an ability to take on multiple blockers and also tallied 10.5 sacks for his career. Per Pro Football Focus, he totaled 40 pressures in 2023. Boyd could earn a roster spot as added depth against the run, but his development as a pass rusher suggests there’s an added element to his game that can be tapped into.
