Bub Means

Bub Means

NOSWR • #16

Saints selected Pittsburgh WR Bub Means with the No. 170 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Means (6’1/212) bounced around between Tennessee and Louisiana Tech before finally settling in at Pittsburgh in 2022 and 2023. In his first season with the Panthers, Means totaled 398 yards and two touchdowns on 45 targets but emerged to go for 41-718-6 on 82 targets in his final season. Means is a high-volume deep threat, who saw 39.8 percent of his targets come on deep passes – the third-highest rate amongst receiver prospects over the last three drafts. Still, the production has been mostly average for Means, who may not amount to much more than a deep threat at the end of the New Orleans roster.
