Terry McLaurin caught 7-of-10 passes for 89 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders’ Wild Card win over the Bucs.

McLaurin hauled in a beautiful over-the-shoulder catch for 35 yards on Washington’s first drive and seemed in for a huge game, but he and Bucs’ cornerback Jamel Dean were locked in a pretty good battle for much of the day. When Dean hurt his knee in the third quarter, McLaurin capitalized and burned Dean’s backup for a crucial fourth-quarter touchdown. The Commanders will need plenty of big plays from McLaurin next week if they hope to go into Detroit and upset the Lions.
