Texans RB Dameon Pierce (ankle) will not play in Week 3 against the Vikings.

Pierce did not practice this week before being ruled out. He missed Week 2 with the ankle issue and could be sidelined beyond Week 3. Cam Akers took his spot in the lineup last week and is in line to start versus the Vikings with Joe Mixon listed as doubtful.
