The Lions announced that Aidan Hutchinson “underwent successful surgery to repair a fractured tibia and fibula” and that “there is no timeline for his return to play at this time.”

The Lions aren’t putting a timeline on Hutchinson’s return, but Hutchinson is likely to miss the rest of the season and perhaps all of the postseason with the injury. It was a brutal injury for one of the league’s premiere pass rushers, who currently leads the league with 7.5 sacks while also racking up seven TFLs and one forced fumble.
