Titans HC Brian Callahan said the starters will play “a series or two, depending on how those series go” in Saturday’s preseason game against the 49ers.

Callahan also said, injured starters and/or veterans currently under load management will be held out. Aside from WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee), all remaining sidelined players are on the defensive side of the ball. Second-year QB Will Levis will take his first snaps in Callahan’s newly installed, expectedly pass-heavy system, which should offer clarity as to Levis’ development after a volatile rookie season.
