Tua Tagovailoa

Tua Tagovailoa

MIAQB • #1

Tua Tagovailoa completed 25-of-28 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins’ 30-27, Week 9 loss to the Bills, adding two carries for three yards.

As you can see from the box score, Tagovailoa was deadly accurate on his screen passes, check downs and swings, but he didn’t venture down the field too often. His longest completion was a 28-yarder to Tyreek Hill where the wideout had to come back to the ball. The most notable play of the game was probably a fourth quarter fourth down scramble where Tagovailoa showed no fear as he dove for the first down. It was difficult to watch considering his concussion history, but it moved the chains. The Bills’ defenders almost appeared as if they did not want to hit the quarterback on the run. Tagovailoa has pushed the buttons just fine since his return, but this offense is still missing its explosive plays from the past few seasons. Tagovailoa’s Week 10 date with the Rams could go either way for fantasy purposes.
