Keller matched his season high with six strikeouts today, but there was no support to be had from the Pirates lineup. He has dropped four straight decisions since beating the Marlins on March 28, and the Pirates have not scored more than four runs in any of the eight games he’s started this season. Valdez had a nice first three weeks for the Pirates, but he’s cooled off considerably, leaving him at .209/.294/.363 overall.
