It’s the fifth homer of the season for J-Rod, and it’s worth pointing out that the 24-year-old didn’t hit his fifth homer last year until June 5. The .216 average leaves a lot to be desired, but fantasy managers can be encouraged that the power and speed combination is showing up more than it did in 2024. It’s still ok to expect more from a talent like his.

One of those homers was a grand slam of Jack Leiter. The other was a solo blast for Raleigh that gives him 12 homers on the season and 23 RBI over 31 games. The man they call Big Dumper will have some lows because of his swing-and-miss issues, but the power is obviously very legit.

Woo was spectacular Friday night, and pounded the strike zone with 64-of-87 pitches landing for strikes. He also was able to generate 12 swings-and-misses, so the strikes he was throwing were quality ones. Again. Woo is now 4-1 on the season with a 2.58 ERA, and you could argue he’s the ace of the Seattle staff with Logan Gilbert (elbow) out of action. He’s obviously a must-start for Wednesday’s bout against the A’s in Sacramento.

Arozarena had gone six straight games without an RBI before driving in himself in the second inning today. He’s hitting .208/.359/.406 with eight steals in eight attempts. Batting average figures to remain an issue while he continues to play half of his games in Seattle, but everything else is good.

Cruz didn’t get a hit, but he was able to draw a pair of walks and put his incredible speed to work. The 26-year-old has swiped 14 bags over 32 games, putting him on pace for right around 70. That’ll work, and so will his .883 OPS.

Crow-Armstrong homered in the second inning, and added another off Joel Payamps in the eighth inning. The 23-year-old has impressed with the bat in 2025 as well as the glove, and fantasy managers have to be pleased as punch with what he’s provided in the early portion of the season. Don’t be surprised if there are ups and downs for the man they call PCA, but the better should outweigh the bitter.

The Marlins could hold Bleday in check on Friday night. He came around to score the Athletics first run after drawing a walk in the second inning then homered and doubled in his next two at-bats. His slash line is slowly creeping up after a disastrous first few weeks of the season and he will likely settle in once again as an underrated compiler who plays every day in a good lineup.
