Schwarber’s solo shot in the bottom of the ninth inning cut the Phillies’ deficit to one in a game they would send to extra innings before ultimately falling short. Schwarber is tied with Aaron Judge with 11 home runs and trails only Cal Raleigh, who has 12, in all of baseball. His .955 OPS is also in the top 10 in all of baseball.

Suarez gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out six. It was a rough return for Suarez, who was making his first start of 2025. The 29-year-old left-hander tossed two scoreless innings before things fell apart allowing three runs in the third inning and four runs in the fourth inning. While Suarez got hit around against a good lineup, he still struck out six batters. Suarez is set to face Guardians on the road next weekend.

Harper has played all 33 games this season for the Phillies, but he’s been struggling at the dish, hitting .228 (28-for-123) with five homers and six steals. The 32-year-old fantasy star has been going through it of late, batting .179 (10-for-56) with just one homer over his last 15 contests. It’s only a matter of time before he reverts to form, but it’s definitely been a grind for Harper over the past few weeks.

Realmuto’s homer off Brandon Pfaadt was his second in three games and third of the year. That he still rates as a top-10 fantasy catcher at this point mostly comes down to him stealing bases; he’s 4-for-4 this season after going just 2-for-4 last year. He totaled 50 steals in the three-year span from 2021-23.

Yelich gave the Brew Crew a 3-0 lead with a two-run blast off Ronel Blanco. That homer and the steal later in the contest put him at six homers, seven steals and 25 RBI over 36 games. He’s also hitting just .210, but at least the counting stats haven’t been abhorrent for the former MVP.

Winker was officially placed on the injured list ahead of Monday’s contest against the Diamondbacks and will likely be sidelined until mid-to-late June. The 31-year-old’s absence creates a void at DH against right-handed pitching. There’s an opportunity for youngsters Luisangel Acuña and Brett Baty to get increased opportunities in the coming weeks.

Winker’s absence frees up some additional at-bats at DH for the overabundance of talent on New York’s roster. The 31-year-old veteran suffered the oblique strain during Sunday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals and is facing a multi-week absence. No word yet on the severity of the strain, which will determine how much time he misses.
