The homer off Cal Quantrill came in his 90th at-bat of 2025. Muncy entered this year having homered once every 14.6 at-bats in seven seasons with the Dodgers, so he definitely has some ground to make up.

Glasnow hit the injured list earlier this week with right shoulder inflammation. The Dodgers are going to give him at least a couple weeks to rest before he’s potentially cleared to resume a throwing program. It seems highly unlikely he’ll make it back to Los Angeles’ rotation until sometime in June since he’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab starts to build up his stamina and pitch count again. He remains without an official return timetable for the moment.

Jesús Sánchez got turned around in center field on the triple, which really ought to have been an out. Still, the triple did travel 389 feet, which is the second farthest Betts has hit a ball this year. It was Betts’ second extra-base hit in two weeks and eighth of the year. At .250/.339/.407 through 28 games, he’s still looking for his first hot streak this season.

He would have had an even better line if not for some outfield hijinks behind him. Gonsolin’s stellar showing included 17 missed swings and a 43% CSW over 77 pitches. Nine strikeouts stands alone as the second-highest total of his career behind a 10-strikeout game against the Rockies in 2020. Gonsolin probably won’t stay healthy and he definitely won’t get to face Miami every time out, but given that he’s fine physically right now and he actually will take on the Marlins again next week, he should be rostered in mixed leagues.

Urías’ second inning home gave the Orioles an early lead that they would never relinquish despite some shaky moments from their bullpen. There’s been a constant public outcry from the fantasy baseball community against Urías’ playing time over some highly regarded prospects during the past years, but he’s been one of the most productive bats in Baltimore to this point in the season with a .757 OPS.

Bregman took Blue Jays starter Yariel Rodríguez deep in the opening frame for his seventh big fly of the season. It was his lone hit in four at-bats. The 31-year-old third baseman has been sizzling-hot at the dish of late, batting .383 (23-for-60) with five homers and 12 RBI over his last 15 games.

Lee put Minnesota on the scoreboard with an eighth-inning solo shot off reliever Hunter Gaddis. The 24-year-old former top prospect figures to continue playing regularly between second and third base until Willi Castro (oblique) is ready to return from the injured list.
