Hagaman’s professional career got off to a delayed start as he was recovering from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery, but he has done a nice job through his first eight starts this season — posting a 2.82 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and a 28/6 K/BB ratio across 22 1/3 innings between the Rangers’ Rookie League squad and Single-A Hickory.
