Jose Caballero went 2-for-5 and homered for Panama. Both Panama and Colombia finished 1-3 in Pool A play, leaving Puerto Rico (2-0), Cubs (2-0) and Canada (1-1) still alive for the final two spots. Bergner, 28, signed with the Rangers last month after seven years in the Tigers system and joined Colombia after pitching 1 2/3 scoreless innings this spring. He’ll be Triple-A pitching depth for Texas.

Bergner, 28, was a ninth-round selection by the Tigers from the 2019 draft class and spent his first seven years in the minor leagues in their organization. In 2025, he compiled a 3.43 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and a 95/43 K/BB ratio across 97 innings between Triple-A Toledo and Double-A Erie. He’ll add pitching depth in the upper minors for the Rangers.

The 36-year-old backstop saw just 44 plate appearances with the Dodgers during the 2025 campaign before being released in May. He then signed with the Giants at the end of June and spent the remainder of the season at the Triple-A level. He’ll add quality catching depth for the Mets and can be ignored for fantasy purposes.
