Blalock gave up six hits, walked two and struck out one. The 24-year-old won his last start despite allowing six runs, but wasn’t as lucky this time. Blalock has now allowed at least five runs in six consecutive starts. Surely he’s looking forward to the offseason and putting his 9.36 ERA behind him.

Blalock gave up eight hits, walked one and struck out four. The 24-year-old has allowed at least five runs in five consecutive starts. Blalock has a 9.16 ERA and was still able to beat the Angels. He’s off the fantasy radar for his start next week against the Mariners on the road.

Blalock also issued a pair of walks in the contest and didn’t record a single strikeout. The 24-year-old hurler was pressed into action after Chase Dollander (knee) landed on the injured list and his return to the Rockies’ rotation did not go well. He served up three home runs in the contest — a two-run blast to Fernando Tatis Jr. in the second inning and a pair of solo shots to Manny Machado and Jackson Merrill in the third. He’ll carry a horrifying 9.00 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and a 22/20 K/BB ratio (50 innings) into Friday’s battle against the Angels.

With Chase Dollander (knee) landing on the injured list on Saturday, Blalock will get another opportunity to show what he can do at the big league level. The 24-year-old hurler sports a troublesome 8.62 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and a 22/18 K/BB ratio over 47 innings with the Rockies this season. He’ll start on Saturday evening against the Padres in San Diego.

Blalock has been shipped back to Triple-A with veteran Antonio Senzatela returning from the injured list. The 24-year-old righty was hit hard in three consecutive starts following a brilliant six-inning outing against the Guardians back on July 28. The -year-old righty boasts a calamitous 8.62 ERA across 47 innings (11 appearances, nine starts) this season at the highest level.

Blalock was able to not pick up a loss because his counterpart in Eduardo Rodriguez was just as bad. The 24-year-old had a nice run near the end of July, but this makes back-to-back ineffective outings to push his ERA to an ugly 7.89. He’ll have a rematch with Arizona on Thursday. Hard pass.

Blalock walked four and struck out only two. Prior to this series, the Pirates had plated seven runs against a single pitcher just once this season (Erick Fedde on June 30). Now they’ve done it twice in three days, having scored eight runs in the first against Antonio Senzatela on Friday. Blalock was coming off nice performances against the Cardinals and Guardians, but this makes him 1-3 with a 7.68 ERA. He’ll face the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Blalock departed with a three-run lead, which Colorado’s bullpen immediately surrendered to saddle him with a no-decision. The 24-year-old righty’s performance was one of the brighter moments in what’s been an otherwise tough campaign. He’ll bring an inflated 7.09 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 16/7 K/BB ratio across 33 innings (eight appearances, six starts) into his next state on Sunday against the Pirates. It’s a decent matchup, but Blalock is not a recommended option for fantasy purposes.

Holding a team to two runs into the sixth while not striking anyone out is tough to do, especially in Coors Field. But Blalock did just that on Tuesday, scattering eight hits and one walk on 73 pitches. Still, the 24-year-old right-hander ends the day with an 8.67 ERA, 1.78 WHIP, and a 9/7 K/BB ratio across 27 innings. He’ll take on the Guardians in Cleveland next Tuesday.

Blalock gave up a run on two base hits and a sacrifice fly in the first inning. He then settled in nicely, keeping the Reds off the board until the sixth. A two-out base hit would end his day at 80 pitches. He struck out just one. The 24-year-old right-hander has posted a 9.97 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, and a 9/6 K/BB ratio across 21 2/3 innings.

Blalock was last seen in the majors giving up 10 runs in what turned out to be a 21-0 loss to the Padres on May 10. He threw 82 pitches in a start for Albuquerque on Friday, so he shouldn’t be available to pitch tonight. The Rockies could give him a start sometime this week, but they don’t necessarily need him to replace Chase Dollander in the rotation, since they have Thursday off. They might just treat him as a long man for now.

The Rockies are embarrassing. Blalock was absolutely shelled from the start, as he gave up five runs in the first inning. He allowed one each in the second and third and then was charged for another five in the fourth. That gives Blalock a deserved 12.94 ERA, and the Diamondbacks should be licking their chops for when they face him next weekend.

Blalock tossed two scoreless innings before giving up a solo homer to Luis Matos in the third. He then pitched into the sixth, leaving with two runners on and one out at 75 pitches. Both inherited runners would come in to score, spoiling an other solid day on the mound for Blalock. The 24-year-old right-hander will take a bloated 8.03 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and a 7/4 K/BB ratio across 12 1/3 innings into a start against the Padres in Colorado on Friday.

With Ryan Feltner (back) landing on the injured list on Friday, it sounds like Blalock will have another opportunity to show what he can do in the Rockies’ rotation. The 24-year-old hurler holds a 10.29 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and a 3/2 K/BB ratio over seven innings in three appearances with the Rockies this season. He remains irrelevant for fantasy purposes.

Blalock was going back to Triple-A regardless of his performance yesterday, but it still didn’t help his cause that he gave up six runs to the Reds. He might not be the choice the next time the Rockies need a starter.

Blalock, who struck out just one, was charged with three runs in the first and three more in the fifth, when he failed to retire a batter. Blalock should return to Triple-A after this.

Blalock returns to the big leagues to start Sunday’s series finale against the Reds after spending a couple weeks back at the Triple-A level. The 24-year-old righty can be safely ignored for fantasy purposes.
