Angels signed INF/OF Cavan Biggio to a minor league contract.

Biggio latches on with the Angels as emergency depth at Triple-A Salt Lake just a couple days after being cut loose by the Royals. The 30-year-old former top prospect posted a calamitous .543 OPS with one homer and one steal over 37 games this season for Kansas City.
