The 35-year-old veteran has been hit hard with a bloated 7.71 ERA across 23 1/3 innings of work this season between the Tigers and Braves. He’s made 376 relief appearances in the big leagues dating back to 2017.

Brebbia is back in the majors two months after the Tigers cut him. He had a 7.71 ERA in 18 2/3 innings for Detroit. This will be the veteran’s second stint with Atlanta after he allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings for the club last September. He had a 1.89 ERA in 19 innings for Gwinnett.
