Twins signed 1B Josh Bell to a one-year, $7 million contract with a mutual option for 2027.

Bell will get a chance to be an everyday option at first base for Minnesota in 2025. There have been flashes of brilliance for the 33-year-old, but there just isn’t enough consistency — and there are too many other quality options — to suggest he has mixed league value to begin 2026.
