Bradish also posted a 26 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW while throwing 66 percent strikes. His sinker sat 95.5 mph, which is up from 94.8 mph last season. He also induced seven whiffs on 17 swings on his slider and curve combined. He remains a high-upside starting pitcher who could emerge as a fantasy SP1 in all league types this season.

Bradish looked outstanding in his return to Baltimore’s rotation last year and his early-spring performances have done nothing to erase that momentum. The 29-year-old’s velocity wasn’t quite at his usual levels in this one, but he still managed to pile up nine swinging strikes to finish with a near-elite 38 percent CSW in the abbreviated appearance. He’ll be a top-100 range selection in all fantasy drafts this spring.

Bradish made quick work of the Tigers in the opening inning, needing just 10 pitches to get three straight ground ball outs. He then gave up a leadoff double to Spencer Torkelson in the second, walked Wenceel Perez and gave up a single to Zach McKinstry to load the bases. He battled back to strike out Hao-Yu Lee, but Max Anderson followed with a two-run single. Bradish then punched out Tomas Nido and got Parker Meadows on a liner to short to end his day. Overall, Bradish threw 22 of his 35 pitches for strikes, getting two swings and misses.

Bradish was very impressive after returning late last season, and he’s set for a normal spring this year. He’s been quite the popular pick in early drafts as a result, but since the Orioles will want him to have something in the tank late in the year, they’ll probably hold him back some this summer. They’ll also probably spend some time with a six-man rotation to help keep everyone fresh.

Bradish defeated the Orioles’ offer of $2.875 million. The right-hander forged a 47/10 K/BB over 32 innings across six starts after returning from his elbow injury. He’ll pitch near the top of the Baltimore rotation to open the 2026 season.

Bradish winds up 1-1 with a 2.53 ERA and a 47/10 K/BB in 32 innings over six starts in his return from elbow surgery. That incredible 37.3 percent strikeout rate would seem to bode really well for next year. He came in at 25.0 percent in his breakthrough season in 2023, but he was also up to 32.5 percent in eight starts before getting hurt last year.

Bradish gave up two hits, walked two and struck out nine. The 29-year-old right-hander has been impressive since returning from Tommy John surgery. Bradish has a 2.25 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 28 innings over five starts this year. He’s lined up to face the Yankees on the road in the last weekend of the regular season.

After giving up an RBI single to Curtis Mead in the first inning, Bradish was outstanding against the not-so-good Chicago lineup. The 29-year-old has pitched well in his return from Tommy John surgery, and he now has a 2.45 ERA over 22 innings in his four starts if more evidence was needed. Bradish is slated to take on the Yankees on Sunday.

Bradish needed just 81 pitches to get through seven tonight. Last week, he threw 84 in four innings against the Padres. Bradish has a 2.65 ERA and a 21/4 K/BB in 17 innings over three starts since returning from Tommy John, but the Orioles have yet to get him a win. Maybe his luck will change Monday against the White Sox.

Bradish piled up five strikeouts and only handed out a pair of free passes, giving him 15 punchouts over 10 frames in a pair of starts since making his season debut. The 28-year-old righty was lifted after throwing 84 pitches (51 strikes) in this one. He’s in line to face the Pirates next Tuesday as Baltimore transitions to a six-man rotation for the final month.

Bradish looked like a certifiable fantasy ace in his first major-league start in 14 months, finishing one strikeout shy of matching his previous career high. He averaged nearly 95 mph on his sinker and four-seamer and generated 15 swinging strikes, finishing with a near-elite 36 percent CSW. All the damage against him came courtesy of the long ball as Trevor Story and David Hamilton took him deep in his return to the big leagues. The 28-year-old righty should be rostered in all fantasy formats and represents a must-start option when he faces the Padres on Monday in his next outing.

14 months after Tommy John surgery, Bradish will make his return to the majors tonight in a start against the Red Sox. Mixed leaguers might not want him active right away, but he was throwing well enough in Triple-A to suggest he’ll offer some late-season value.

It was expected, but now it’s official that Bradish’s Tommy John rehab is complete. The Orioles still haven’t announced Wednesday’s starter. They were planning on going with a six-man rotation with no off day this week, but they lost No. 5 starter Brandon Young to a hamstring strain last week.

The 28-year-old right-hander has worked all the way back from Tommy John surgery and is ready to help out the Orioles at the big league level. With Brandon Young on the injured list, no one will need to be bumped from the team’s rotation to accommodate Bradish’s return.

Bradish’s fastball sat in the 94 mph range and he got up to 89 pitches in what will likely be his final rehab tune-up prior to making his season debut next week against the Red Sox at Camden Yards.

The updated timeline puts Bradish’s season debut at some point during next week’s series against the Red Sox at Camden Yards. The 28-year-old righty is on the precipice of making it back from last year’s Tommy John surgery after striking out nine over five scoreless frames last Friday in his latest minor league rehab outing for Triple-A Norfolk.

He allowed just two hits. The Orioles said earlier this week that Bradish would make one more rehab start after this one, but perhaps they’ll reconsider after such a terrific performance. Brandon Young will likely be displaced from the rotation when Bradish is activated.

The 27-year-old hurler has spent the past five seasons toiling in the minor leagues for the Orioles before getting released recently. He had registered a 6.34 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and a 67/34 K/BB ratio over 61 innings at Triple-A Norfolk in 15 appearances (14 starts) this season. He’ll add rotation depth in the upper minors for the Rockies.

He struck out four and walked two while throwing 45 of his 69 pitches for strikes. Bradish sat 95.4 mph on his sinker, which was great to see and suggests that his arm is feeling healthy. He also displayed a new slider that’s over three mph slower than what we’ve seen in the past, with four inches more drop and an inch more horizontal run. He struggled to find the zone with that pitch on Friday, but it had six whiffs on nine swings. The most important part for a veteran like Bradish is health and movement, which we’re seeing from him. He may need another start or two to shake the rust fully before returning to the Orioles’ lineup.

Setting aside the results, Bradish got his pitch count up to 57 (36 strikes) in his latest rehab outing. He struck out three and only issued one walk. The 28-year-old righty will likely need at least one or two additional starts before he’s ready to make his season debut.

Bradish struck out four and allowed one run over two innings on Thursday in his rehab debut for High-A Aberdeen. The 28-year-old righty will likely require a handful of additional tune-up outings to continue building up his pitch count and stamina, but he figures to make it back to Baltimore by late August.

Bradish is in the final stages of his recovery from last year’s Tommy John surgery and will make his first rehab start late next week. The 28-year-old has flashed some big-time fantasy potential earlier in his career and is worthy of a speculative stash, especially in deeper mixed leagues. He’ll require a handful of rehab outings to build up his pitch count and stamina following the lengthy layoff, but should make it back to Baltimore by the end of August.

This is likely the last step before Bradish is cleared to begin a rehab assignment. The right-hander already threw two shorter live batting practice sessions after reporting to Florida on June 29, so this multi-inning one will be the next step in his progression as he returns from Tommy John surgery. Bradish will need a long ramp-up on his rehab assignment, so a late August return is probably his best-case scenario. It’s unlikely that Baltimore will be in playoff contention then, so we could see Bradish make a few starts in September, kind of like Jacob deGrom did last year.
