A 6-foot-4 righty, Martinez cracked Baseball America’s recently updated Mariners top 30 prospect list after posting a 6.18 ERA across 62 2/3 innings (16 appearances) this season for Low-A Modesto. He’s the definition of a lottery ticket pitching prospect.
