Rockies acquired INF Roc Roggio and LHP Ben Shields for RHP Jake Bird.

Roggio, 23, was the Yankees’ fourth-round selection from the 2023 draft class. He has climbed had a nice season across three minor league levels in 2025, slashing .264/.370/.567 with 18 homers, 45 RBI and nine stolen bases (in 16 attempts) — primarily at Double-A Somerset. He’ll add some intriguing infield depth to the Rockies’ organization.
