Diamondbacks selected the contract of RHP Taylor Rashi from Triple-A Reno.

Rashi receives his first call up to the big leagues ahead of Wednesday’s contest against the Brewers. The unheralded 29-year-old righty was a 23rd-round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. He’s posted a solid 3.48 ERA across 67 1/3 innings (40 appearances) this season at the Triple-A level in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.
