Jiménez missed all of 2025 after undergoing surgery on his left knee. Anthopoulos told reporters that the team won’t have an idea on Jiménez’s timeline until December or January. Jiménez underwent knee surgery with an 8-12 month recovery last November. It’s unclear if he’d have a shot of returning were the Braves in contention, but there’s certainly no reason to push him at this point. Jiménez, who had a 2.62 ERA in 68 2/3 innings as a setup man last season, is in the second year of a three-year, $26 million contract.
