It’s unfortunately fitting that Keaschall will end the season on the IL because injuries played such a big role in his season. When he was on the field, he was tremendous, slashing .302/.382/.445 with four home runs, 28 RBI, and 14 steals in 49 games. Provided that he comes into spring training healthy, he should be the favorite to be the starting second baseman in Minnesota next year.

Keaschall will undergo an MRI to confirm the initial diagnosis and figures to hit the injured list at some point before the regular season wraps up this weekend. He’s slated to visit a hand specialist next week to determine whether he’ll require offseason surgery. The 23-year-old top prospect suffered the injury during Tuesday’s contest when jammed his left thumb on a head-first into second base. He finishes the season with a stellar .302/.382/.445 slash line with four homers, 28 RBI and 14 steals in 49 games. He’ll be an extremely popular sleeper candidate in all fantasy drafts next spring.

Keaschall will undergo additional evaluation and testing after seeming to jam his left hand while attempting to steal second base in the early stages of the contest. He was 0-for-1 with a walk and his 14th theft of the season prior to leaving the game. The 23-year-old rookie has had a phenomenal season and looks like a potential impact power/speed combo source for years to come. There should be an update on his status following the contest.

Keaschall heads to the bench with Austin Martin taking over at second base following six straight starts at the keystone for the Twins. The 23-year-old rookie sensation is slashing a robust .310/.405/.496 with four home runs, 19 RBI and eight steals across 131 plate appearances in 31 games. He looks like a future fantasy force at a relatively weak second base position group heading into next season and beyond.

Keaschall bounced back after an 0-for-8 stretch over two games Friday and Saturday. The 23-year-old was on-base twice and scored twice in the win over the Astros. Keaschall has certainly impressed in his rookie campaign. He’s hitting .315 with a .922 OPS and 19 RBI this year.

It appears to be a routine off day for Keaschall, who has been a revelation this season for the Twins, slashing .337/.427/.494 with two homers, 15 RBI and seven steals across 25 games. The 23-year-old has played second base almost exclusively since returning from the injured list back on August 5, which is the last time he got a break. He projects as a potential upper-echelon option at the keystone next season given his power/speed combination and strong hit tool.

We’re assuming this is just a day off for Keaschall, who had started 18 straight games. Kody Clemens is playing second base tonight, with Edouard Julien at first. That says quite a bit about how the Twins regard Julien’s defense.

He hit a Carlos Estévez fastball 396 feet to right with two outs and a man on in a tie game. Is it crazy to think the Twins still might be intact and in contention right now if Keaschall hadn’t suffered a fractured forearm in April? He’s been simply incredible in hitting .415/.500/.707 through 12 big-league games. He has eight extra-base hits and three strikeouts in 48 plate appearances, and he’s also 5-for-6 stealing bases.

Less than 24 hours after hitting his first career homer, Keaschall was able to have another big game Wednesday. The 22-year-old rookie doubled twice; a two-run two bagger in the first and a ground-rule double that knocked in a run in the fifth. Keaschall has been outstanding in his limited action, and while there’s certainly the potential for ups and downs in his first taste of MLB action, the upside is obvious.

The 22-year-old rookie infielder capped off a three-run uprising off of Chris Paddack in the opening inning with a 402-foot (102.4 mph EV) two-run shot to left-center. Keaschall also smacked an RBI single in the sixth inning that extended the Twins’ lead to 6-1, but he was cut down attempting to steal second base. With his two-hit attack, he’s now slashing .391/.533/.652 with a homer, five RBI and five stolen bases in his first 29 plate appearances with the Twins.

Keaschall is at second base and batting fifth on Tuesday against the Tigers in his return after missing more than three months with a fractured forearm. He has some history in the outfield and at first base, but he’s played only second base and DH’d this year, both before getting hurt back in late April and since beginning a rehab assignment three weeks ago. Assuming that the Twins stick with that plan, it seems like bad news for Edouard Julien, though perhaps he’ll see some time at first base. Keaschall may need a little while to get going, but since he’ll have the green light on the basepaths, he’s worth trying in mixed leagues.

Keaschall, who has been out since April with a forearm fracture, is batting .265/.367/.327 with seven steals in 14 games on his rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul. The Twins could option him out and let him continue to work on things in the minors, but it they were going to do that, they wouldn’t have put his nameplate up. He’ll likely be activated Tuesday and start taking away playing time from Edouard Julien. There’s a good chance he’ll have some mixed-league value the rest of the way.

Keaschall, out since April with a fractured forearm, is still working to find his stroke, having gone 9-for-40 with no extra-base hits so far during his rehab assignment. It makes sense to wait for him to heat up before bringing him back, but he could have some mixed-league value over the final six or seven weeks.

Keaschall had three hard-hit balls between the two games. He’s 5-for-22 with no extra-base hits and a 2/4 K/BB in six games since beginning his rehab assignment, and he’s yet to do anything besides DH.

The 22-year-old went 3-for-12 with three walks and two steals in three games over the weekend. While the Twins and fantasy managers are excited to see what he can do when he returns, The Athletic’s Dan Hayes reports that this will be a “lengthier rehab” because the team wants to ensure “he’s confident with his forearm” when he returns. With Minnesota falling out of playoff contention, there is no reason to rush Keaschall back, so it may be another two weeks or so before we see him back in the big leagues.

Keaschall is in the final stages of his recovery from a fractured right forearm that he suffered back in April, just seven games into his big-league career. The 22-year-old top prospect figures to make a significant impact for fantasy purposes since he has a clear path to at-bats in Minnesota and has hit at every rung of the minor-league ladder since being drafted back in 2023. He’s worthy of a speculative roster spot in deeper mixed leagues and should make it back to the Twins’ lineup at some point in the next week.

Keaschall fractured his right forearm in late April after hitting .368 (7-for-19) with two RBI and five steals in seven games to start his MLB career. The Twins are likely to give Keaschall plenty of time to get his timing back, but with Willi Castro’s name coming up in trade rumors, it’s possible that we could see Keaschall back with the Twins in August.

Keaschall was off to an excellent start in the majors before suffering a right forearm fracture that sent him to the injured list back in late April. The 22-year-old top prospect should be ready to kick off a minor league rehab assignment at some point in the coming days. He should make it back to Minnesota’s lineup by the end of July, if not sooner.

The rookie is able to hit off a tee, which is a positive step as well. He will receive a further exam in early July to determine possible next steps, but Brooks Lee has also caught fire since Keaschall got hurt, so it’s unclear what kind of role he might return to.

It’s merely a procedural move as Keaschall won’t be re-evaluated until at least late May after managing to avoid surgery back in late April for a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm. The 22-year-old top prospect is unlikely to return to Minnesota’ lineup until late June or early July.

No word yet on exactly how much time Keaschall is going to miss, but fantasy managers should anticipate a multi-week absence. The 22-year-old top prospect was off to a torrid start at the dish, hitting .368 (7-for-19) with two RBI and five steals in seven games, prior to suffering a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm when he was hit by a pitch during Friday’s showdown against the Angels. There should be a clear return timetable in the coming days.

Keaschall suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch during Friday’s game against the Angels. It’s a brutal development for the Twins, and fantasy managers, as the 22-year-old phenom had exploded out of the gate in his first taste of the big leagues, slashing a ridiculous .368/.538/.526 with a pair of RBI and five stolen bases in his first seven games. No word yet on exactly how much time he’s going to miss but it’s going to be an extended absence.

The 22-year-old rookie second baseman stayed in the game to run the bases for himself and played another couple of innings in the field but was lifted for a pinch hitter the next time that his spot in the order came around. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to rule out any fractures. Stay tuned as the Twins should have an update on his status as soon as more information becomes available.

Keaschall has been a machine through the first few games of his career. He’s reached base safely in half of his plate appearances so far and has hit three doubles in five games. With his hot start, the Twins have moved him to the third spot in their order. He’s hit there in consecutive games, both against right-handed pitchers. Also, and possibly most importantly for his fantasy value, he’s been a maniac on the base paths. Of the nine times he’s reached first base since being promoted, he’s stolen second five of those times. It makes sense that the Twins would move him up in the order as they aggressively search for a spark and he’ll have every chance to produce while he’s playing like this.

Keaschall drew a two-out walk in the third inning, swiped second base and ultimately scored on a throwing error. He led off the eighth inning with a walk, pilfered second base again and then rode home on Trevor Larnach’s two-run blast. The 22-year-old infielder is taking full advantage of the opportunity presented to him, hitting .357/.471/.500 with three runs scored, two RBI and three stolen bases in his first four big league games. He’s worthy of a look in all mixed leagues while he’s performing at this level and hitting in the middle of the Twins’ lineup.

Keaschall will make his first appearance in the field after going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base at DH on Friday in his major-league debut. The 22-year-old second baseman was Rotoworld’s 32nd-ranked dynasty prospect entering the year and has done nothing but hit throughout every stop of his professional career. He hasn’t shown any signs of rust with the bat since returning from last August’s Tommy John procedure. The above-average hit tool and power/speed combo upside make him an appealing fantasy option, even in shallow mixed leagues.
