Laureano has been solid in 2025 with an OPS of .884, and he has a history of being a quality defender who also can hit left-handed pitching. As Heyman notes, the Orioles have a very affordable $6.5 million option for the 31-year-old for 2026, so there’s no “pressure” for Baltimore to move the outfielder. Still, this would be selling high, and a Laureano move seems plausible. Maybe even likely.

Laureano had three hits and four runs scored in game one today, but that didn’t even get him blurbed in a 16-4 win. We’ll make up for it now, since Laureano was the Orioles’ top offensive performer in a quieter game tonight as Baltimore completed a doubleheader sweep. All five hits Laureano had on the day were singles, though he just homered yesterday. His OPS is sitting at .887, and there are plenty of teams that would love to have him if the Orioles aren’t too taken with his affordable $6.5 million option for next year and end up keeping him.

Laureano gave the Orioles a 3-0 lead with a two-run homer in the first inning off Logan Allen. The 31-year-old has been one of the few bright spots for Baltimore, and he’s now slugging .521 on the season with 14 homers; four of those off left-handed pitching. With the O’s out of contention, it seems likely Laureano is available. However, his affordable team option for 2026 means that Baltimore doesn’t necessarily have to trade him if the offers aren’t good enough.

He drove in four of the Orioles’ five runs in the contest. Laureano, now hitting .208/.343/.511, is going to be in significant demand at the deadline, but since the Orioles got him to agree to a $6.5 million club option for 2026 when they signed him to a one-year deal in February, they might want to hang on him.

With feel-like temperatures at George M. Steinbrenner Field touching triple digits, tempers have begun to flare. Laureano was tossed after striking out in the third inning. Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino was also given the gate shortly afterwards.

Laureano gave the Orioles their only run of the game with a 426-foot shot in the eighth inning that left the bat at 107 mph. The 30-year-old has found the fountain of youth (or maybe just sniffed it) with the Orioles this season and has produced some solid results while hitting every day in the middle of the lineup. He could return solid fantasy value if he remains in Baltimore, but there’s a good chance he gets moved into a part-time role for a contender at the deadline. Still, he could be worth a short-term gamble in fantasy leagues.

At .868, Laureano has now overtaken Ryan O’Hearn for the high OPS on the Orioles. The team made him a late signing in February with the idea that he’d be the fifth outfielder and play against lefties. However, he’s done all of his best work versus righties, hitting .305/.371/.610 with eight homers against them. He’s also played great defense in the outfield corners, and if the Orioles opt to sell, he’ll surely be of interest to several teams.

Laureano is now hitting .269/.329/.522 with nine home runs and 22 RBI for Baltimore this season. Even if Tyler O’Neill comes back, Laureano has done enough to remain a regular option in Baltimore’s lineup. He could remain in the outfield with O’Neill taking the majority of the DH at-bats, and Ryan O’Hearn playing 1B. That possibility makes Laureano worth holding on your roster in deeper formats.

The 30-year-old outfielder plated Jordan Westburgh with an infield single in the second inning to give the Orioles an early 1-0 advantage. He drove in Westburg again with an RBI single in the sixth inning that made it a 3-1 ballgame. With his two-hit evening, Laureano is hitting .269/.331/.508 with eight homers, 19 RBI and a pair of stolen bases in 145 plate appearances.

Laureano went hitless in his first game back from the injured list, but made up for it against his former team Saturday. The two-run homer was the seventh of the season for the outfielder, and a couple more knocks sees his slash at a very solid .275/.327/.549. With the Orioles not getting the kind of offense expected out of their corner outfield and some injuries as well, Laureano should get a chance to keep up the good run. Fantasy managers needing outfield help could do worse than give him a shot.

Laureano is back after missing just a little over the minimum stint with an ankle sprain. The outfielder should get playing time against left-handed pitching, but remains without a fantasy role.

Laureano, on the IL with an ankle sprain, could be activated today or tomorrow. Jordyn Adams will likely be demoted first, but Heston Kjerstad and Dylan Carlson could also be in trouble as the Orioles get injured players back in the coming days.

Laureano was just placed on the IL on May 24th, so he likely won’t need a long rehab assignment before rejoining the Orioles. With Colton Cowser back in the lineup and Tyler O’Neill also set to begin a rehab assignment, it remains to be seen what Laureano’s playing time will be when he returns.

Laureano’s left ankle bent awkwardly underneath his body while trying to make a catch in shallow right-center field during the fourth inning. He somehow managed to stay in the contest for another inning before departing. He finished 0-for-2 at the plate. He’ll presumably head for further evaluation and possibly imaging to determine the severity of the issue.

Laureano hit a solo homer off Simeon Woods Richardson in the third inning. The veteran outfielder also doubled and scored another run in a solid fantasy outing for the 30-year-old. Laureano is only hitting .207 with a .254 on-base percentage, but that comes with a solid .483 slugging mark.

Given his strong defense and nice run offensively with the Braves last season, Laureano should have gotten better offers over the winter. He settled for a true bench gig with the Orioles in February, and he was off to a weak 2-for-17 start before homering off Hunter Greene and Carson Spiers today. It looks like Kjerstad is just day-to-day, so Laureano’s role probably won’t be expanded beyond these next few games.
