Miller’s only major league experience came with the Angels in 2024, when he posted a 4.15 ERA in 13 innings out of the pen. He spent last season with the Tigers’ Triple-A club, amassing a 4.32 ERA in 50 innings. Given that the Rockies tend to run through a bunch of pitchers, there’s a good chance he’ll see some additional major league time this year.

Ritter earned his first call-up to the big leagues on Friday night after being one of the hottest hitters in the minors over the past few weeks at Triple-A Albuquerque. The 24-year-old middle infielder, who has 16 round-trippers in 52 games this season at the Triple-A level, is worthy of consideration for a roster spot in extremely deep leagues. He’ll get a chance to prove he belongs in the big leagues while Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) is on the shelf for the next couple weeks.

Ritter has been outstanding in Triple-A this year with a slash of .305/.413/.635 with 16 homers in 245 plate appearances for Albuquerque. The 24-year-old was better known for his defense before 2025, but clearly he’s figured some things out with the bat as well. Ritter is worthy of roster consideration, as he should get a good amount of playing time with Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) on the injured list.
