Mears, who pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings in three appearances against the Cubs, experienced back troubles in the second half of the year, which could explain his absence from the roster. Myers gets the call to replace him over DL Hall and Rob Zastryzny. Myers had a 1.91 ERA and 20/3 K/BB in 28 1/3 innings out of the Brewers pen this year, compared to a 5.64 ERA in six starts.

Myers returns to the big leagues with Grant Anderson hitting the injured list and Chad Patrick returning to the minors. The 27-year-old holds a respectable 3.90 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 28/12 K/BB ratio across 32 1/3 innings (12 appearances, six starts) this season at the highest level.

Myers returns to the minors after tossing a pair of scoreless frames during Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Cubs. The 27-year-old righty boasts a respectable 3.90 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 28/12 K/BB ratio across 32 1/3 innings (12 appearances, six starts) this season at the highest level.

Myers was used as a spot starter with Logan Henderson (elbow) landing on the injured list. Myer’s six big league starts haven’t been great this season, but he does have a 3.77 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 55/17 K/BB ratio in 59 2/3 innings at Triple-A. The Brewers may be able to bring Jacob Misiorowski (tibia) off the injured list next week, so this could be the last start for Myers in a while.

Myers gets the call to replace Logan Henderson with Henderson placed on the 15-day injured list as a corresponding transaction. After a successful rookie season, Myers has not replicated those results in 2025 with a 4.95 ERA and 15/10 K/BB ratio over five starts. He will be on the mound — but not a recommend streamer — for Saturday against the Mets.

No word yet on the corresponding move, as that will likely wait until Monday. Myers had been working as a long man out of the Brewers’ bullpen since their rotation is overcrowded at the moment. He has had his name surface in multiple trade rumors this week and is someone that could potentially be on the move if the Brewers choose to deal from their extreme starting pitching depth to improve their offense.

With Aaron Ashby heading to the paternity list, Myers will provide the Brewers with a fresh arm that’s capable of working multiple innings out of the bullpen. The 26-year-old right-hander holds a 4.95 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and a 15/10 K/BB ratio over 20 innings in six appearances (five starts) for the Brewers this season.

Myers has been in the minor leagues, cleaning up his mechanics and working on some tweaks to his pitch mix. However, what we saw on Friday was also a career-high fastball velocity. Myers sat at 94.1 mph, which is up from his 92.8 mph mark from last year, but he also hit 98 mph, which is the hardest fastball he’s thrown in professional baseball. In Friday’s game, he struck out eight and didn’t walk a batter while allowing just two hits. With both Myers and Nestor Cortes pushing for a return to the big league rotation, you have to wonder how much more time Chad Patrick, Quinn Priester, or Jose Quintana have. This feels like a situation ripe for a trade.

He also allowed four hits while striking out six and walking none. He now has a 3.11 ERA in 46 1/3 innings with a 40/13 K/BB ratio. This is his second straight shutout outing, and whatever the Brewers were hoping Myers would fix in the minors seems to have worked. There is not currently a spot in the Brewers’ rotation, but they could move Jose Quintana and/or Freddy Peralta at the trade deadline, which would give him another chance.

The 26-year-old allowed four hits while striking out four and walking two. He now has a 3.48 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 41 1/3 innings at Triple-A Nashville this season. He deserves another crack at starts in Milwaukee, but it might not happen unless the Brewers move on from Jose Quintana and/or Freddy Peralta at the trade deadline.

Myers has been shipped back to the minors after getting crushed for four runs on 11 hits over just 3 2/3 innings on Saturday. The 26-year-old righty has struggled to a lackluster 4.95 ERA across 20 innings (six appearances, five starts) this season at the highest level.

Myers’ 71 pitches produced four missed swings and 11 hard-hit balls. He’d still be in Triple-A right now if not for the injury to Jose Quintana, but there’s a good chance he’ll wind up back there anyway after his performance tonight. He has a 4.95 ERA and a 15/10 K/BB in his 20 major league innings this season.

Myers tossed three scoreless frames before giving up two runs in the fourth on a walk, two hits, and a sacrifice fly. He’s given up no more than two runs in a start but isn’t going very deep into games at this point. The 26-year-old right-hander will take a 3.86 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, and an 11/10 K/BB ratio across 16 1/3 innings into a start against the Twins in Milwaukee next Saturday.

Myers allowed six hits, but the only run came in the sixth inning on a fielder’s choice. The 26-year-old was far from dominant with just two strikeouts, but he only allowed one extra-base hit and didn’t issue a walk. Myers had plenty of starts like this in his rookie campaign, and while he doesn’t miss a ton of bats, he’s obviously tough to square up. He gets the Rays next week.

Myers walked two and threw 28-of-49 pitches for strikes. Both runs came in the second inning, as he gave up an RBI single and then hit a batter with the bases loaded; with two of those runners reaching via walk. There’s been no word of an injury just yet, but it’s worth noting that this was just his second start since returning from the injured list. Assuming good health, Myers will try and get back on track Monday against the Astros.

The 26-year-old hurler struggled with his command in this one, issuing four free passes, while striking out a pair. The Giants got him for a run in the opening inning on an RBI double by Jung Hoo Lee, then Mike Yastrzemski tagged him for a solo shot in the third inning. Myers generated seven swings and misses on 82 pitches on the afternoon, posting a CSW of 17 percent. He should be able to work deeper into the game his next time out against the White Sox on Wednesday in Chicago.

Myers will be making his season debut after missing the first month of the season with an oblique strain. The 26-year-old was very effective in his rookie campaign, and while he’s a better ‘real-life’ option than a fantasy one, he limits hard contact enough to be considered against all but the best lineups. Fantasy managers may want to wait a turn through the rotation before adding him to a lineup.

It’ll likely take place against the Giants next week. The 26-year-old said he “recovered well” from his rehab start Friday for Triple-A Nashville, and assuming no setbacks, the right-hander should be back with the Milwaukee rotation. He’s worthy of roster consideration after having a solid rookie campaign in 2024.

Myers is targeting roughly 65-70 pitches in his final rehab outing before returning next week to Milwaukee’s rotation mix. The 26-year-old righty allowed three runs over five innings on Sunday in his most recent rehab start.

Myers also walked one and struck out one batter on the afternoon. The expectation is that he’ll probably require a third and final minor league tune-up before he’s ready to rejoin the Brewers’ rotation. Given the urgent need for quality arms, Milwaukee could opt to bring him back after this start if they feel like he’s ready.
