He has already climbed to Double-A San Antonio this season where he has posted a 2.57 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and a 25/10 K/BB ratio across 21 innings in 14 appearances. He could move quickly through the O’s system and it’s not out of the question that he could debut before the 2025 season concludes.

He made 12 appearances on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Iowa, posting a 2.77 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and an 11/9 K/BB ratio over 13 innings of work. There’s a chance that a bullpen-needy club could take a flier on him on waivers.
