Twins acquired OF Henry Mendez from the Phillies in a three-player trade.

Mendez has seen his stock rise significantly in 2025, and he’s forged an .808 OPS with eight homers in 85 games for Double-A Reading. The 21-year-old projects as hitter who can put up a solid average, and he’s beginning to develop some power, as well. He could be an option for the Twins by the end of 2026, but 2027 is a more likely ETA.
