Rodriguez racked up six strikeouts on the night while issuing only one base on balls. The Padres jumped on him early in this one as Fernando Tatis Jr. slugged a leadoff homer and Xander Bogaerts added a two-run blast in the opening frame. Elias Diaz then added a two-run shot in the second inning. He shut the Padres out over his final four innings, but the damage had already been done. The 32-year-old southpaw wraps up a disappointing season with a 5.02 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and a 143/60 K/BB ratio over 154 1/3 innings in 29 starts.

The 32-year-old southpaw struck out five batters on the day while issuing three walks. The biggest threat against him came as the Phillies put two men on with two outs in the fourth inning, but Rodriguez was able to punch out Bryson Stott to diffuse the situation. He generated 10 swings and misses on 95 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 22 percent. He now sits at 9-8 on the season with an underwhelming 4.91 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and a 137/59 K/BB ratio over 148 1/3 innings. He’ll finish his season on Saturday with a matchup against the Padres in San Diego.

Rodriguez got into trouble right away, giving up four runs on five hits and a sacrifice fly in the first inning. He settled in to give the Diamondbacks five innings, giving up one more run on a solo homer by Wilmer Flores in the third inning. He struck out two. The 32-year-old left-hander ends the day with a 5.12 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and a 132/56 K/BB ratio across 142 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Dodgers in Arizona on Tuesday.

Rodriguez allowed two hits, walked two and struck out six. He’s given up a total of one run over 18 1/3 innings in his last three starts to move to 8-8 with a 4.98 ERA on the season. Considering that he finished the first half 3-6 with a 5.94 ERA, that’s a pretty nice turnaround, although it’s one much better reflected in his ERA than in his peripherals. He’ll face the Giants again next week.

Turns out that all Rodriguez needed to do was start facing his old teams. After six scoreless against the Tigers on Saturday, E-Rod was effective against his former club again with just four hits allowed, one walk and four strikeouts. That’s the good news, the bad news is that Rodriguez has allowed one run over 12 innings and still has an ERA of 5.22. He’ll also have to face a team that hasn’t employed him next week, as the Giants are next.

Four hits allowed, four walks and four strikeouts wouldn’t’ seem to make for a particularly strong showing, but it worked out in this one. Rodriguez improved to 6-8 with a 5.40 ERA. He’s due to face one of his old teams, the Red Sox, on Friday.

Rodriguez allowed six hits to the 14 batters he faced, even though he surrendered only for hard-hit balls and most of the contact against him was on the ground. Fortunately, he didn’t burn out the pen in his shortest outing of the year, as Bryce Jarvis was able to pitch 5 2/3 innings behind him. Rodriguez dropped to 5-8 with a 5.67 ERA, and he’s due to face the Dodgers next.

Rodríguez kept the Guardians off the board through three innings before Cleveland brought two runs in to score on a walk and two hits in the fourth. He then surrendered a two-run blast to José Ramírez in the fifth. Rodriguez would pitch into the seventh, recording the first two outs before leaving at 96 pitches with four strikeouts. The 32-year-old left-hander will take a 5.40 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, and a 115/46 K/BB ratio across 116 2/3 innings into a start against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Monday.

It’s only the fifth win of season for Rodriguez, and yes, it still counts even if it’s the Rockies. The southpaw allowed just a solo homer to Kyle Farmer, and outside of that kept Colorado off the board to lower his ERA to a still-unuseable 5.40 on the 2025 campaign. He’ll try and repeat his success against the Guardians on Tuesday. It’s a mistake in process to bet on that occurring.

Rodriguez had one of his better starts against the A’s on Sunday with five innings of two-run baseball, but he was back to scuffling a week later. The 32-year-old issued five free passes against two strikeouts, and he allowed six hits. Rodriguez has been a massive disappointment in 2025 with an ERA of 5.68, and it would be an error in process to use him in fantasy leagues Thursday when he has a rematch with the Rockies in Coors Field.

Rodriguez allowed six hits, walked three and struck out five in his first win since June 23. The Diamondbacks had lost each of his previous five starts. He’s now 4-7 with a 5.53 ERA overall, but those desperate enough could try him in a home start against the Rockies next weekend.

Rodriguez gave up two more homers tonight, bringing his total to seven in three losses this month. With his 3-7 record and 5.63 ERA, he’s not getting traded this week, as no one is going to have any interest in taking on the back half of his four-year, $80 million deal. He’ll likely next pitch Saturday or Sunday against the A’s.

Rodriguez had one of his better starts of the season, holding the Astros scoreless into the seventh inning. He scattered six hits and three walks while striking out three batters. With just a one-run lead, he was saddled with a no-decision after Houston took the lead in the eighth. The 32-year-old left-hander will take a 5.50 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, and a 93/32 K/BB ratio across 86 2/3 innings into a matchup against the Tigers in Detroit on Monday.

After giving up 12 hits and nine runs against the Royals on Friday, Rodriguez was better, but to say that’s faint praise is an understatement. He allowed eight hits — two of those were homers — and he walked a pair with three strikeouts. Rodriguez now has an unsightly 5.94 ERA on the season, and the 32-year-old offers more fantasy risk than upside at this stage of the campaign.

Rodriguez somehow struck out seven, but when the ball was put in play, bad things happened. That’s particularly true when he was facing Vinnie Pasquantino, as Pasquantino homered twice off the southpaw while Mark Canha also added a roundtripper. Rodriguez has been up-and-down for the majority of 2025, and this one definitely goes in the latter pile. His chance to bounce back is scheduled for Wednesday against the Padres.

The 32-year-old left-hander struck out five opposing hitters on the afternoon while allowing only one base on balls. He exited with a 2-1 lead and in line for his fourth victory of the season but the Diamondbacks’ bullpen would not oblige. The lone blemish against him in this one came on an RBI infield single off the bat of Eric Wagaman in the opening inning. Rodriguez got 12 whiffs on 108 pitches on the day, registering a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll try to further improve upon his 5.13 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 80/27 K/BB ratio (72 innings) when he takes on the Royals at home on Friday.

It’s the first time Rodriguez has pitched at least five innings without allowing a run since Sept. 24, 2023 in his next-to-last start for the Tigers. While this has certainly been a forgettable year for Rodriguez so far, this is his third 10-strikeout game somehow. He’s 3-4 with a 5.40 ERA and a 74/24 K/BB in 66 2/3 innings. Although he’s definitely not an every-week play in mixed leagues at the moment, he’ll again be nice to have active when he faces the Marlins on Sunday.

Rodriguez also walked three and struck out four on the day, while registering a 27 percent whiff rate and 28 percent CSW. Only two of the hits he allowed went for extra bases, but one was a home run to Bo Bichette. Rodriguez simply struggled to find the zone, posting a 41 percent zone rate on his four-seamer. It wasn’t a terrible outing overall, and he’s probably a strong streamer next week in a two-start week against the White Sox and Marlins.

He allowed six hits, walked one and struck out five. Rodriguez has been effective in both starts since returning from shoulder inflammation, though not in a way that inspires a ton of confidence. It’s best to leave him in the free agent pool ahead of his next start against the Blue Jays.

Rodriguez exited an inning before the suspension, so his outing was unaffected. The left-hander struck out three and walked none in a solid first start back from shoulder inflammation. He left with a 3-2 lead, but that vanished in the sixth, leaving him with a no-decision. He’ll likely make his next start Wednesday against the Mariners. He’s not an option in mixed leagues just yet.

The 32-year-old southpaw has been shelved since mid-May due to inflammation in his throwing shoulder. He’ll make his triumphant return to the mound on Friday evening against the Reds in Cincinnati. Tommy Henry was optioned to Triple-A Reno to free up a spot for him on the Diamondbacks’ active roster.

No word on the pitch count, which isn’t included in the league’s box scores. However, the important variable here is that Rodriguez got through the rehab outing without any issues and appears poised to rejoin Arizona’s rotation, possibly as early as next week. His return would likely bump Ryne Nelson, who has been pitching outstanding of late, back to the bullpen.

Rodriguez threw a 55-pitch, three-inning simulated game earlier this week and appears to be close to returning to Arizona’s rotation mix. The 32-year-old southpaw hit the injured list earlier this month with shoulder inflammation. It’s possible he’ll make it back without requiring a minor league rehab start.

Rodriguez has progressed to flat-ground throwing and has yet to advance to a bullpen session. It’s an encouraging sign that the 32-year-old lefty has already resumed throwing after hitting the injured list last Friday with shoulder inflammation. We’re anticipating it’ll be at least a couple weeks before he’s back in Arizona’s rotation.

The 32-year-old southpaw felt something in his shoulder following Wednesday’s start against the Giants. No word yet on the severity of the issue or how long he’ll be sidelined for, but he’ll miss a couple of weeks at a minimum. Scott McGough was recalled from Triple-A Reno in a corresponding move on Friday. Expect Ryne Nelson to assume Rodriguez’s spot in the Diamondbacks’ rotation.

It’s hard to give up eight runs and get no decision, but Rodriguez did just that thanks to an implosion by the Dodgers’ pitching staff. Still, this was an ugly effort from the 32-year-old that saw him allow nine hits, three doubles, three walks and a homer. Not ideal. Rodriguez now has an abhorrent ERA of 7.30, and he’d be a very risky streaming option against the Giants on Wednesday in San Francisco.

Rodriguez gave up five hits, walked four and struck out 10. He bounced back in a difficult matchup against the Phillies after allowing nine runs and striking out only one against the Mets in his last start. Rodriguez has a 45:12 SO:BB ratio on the season. Despite a 5.92 ERA, his 3.36 xFIP suggests he has pitched much better than that. Rodriguez is lined up to face the Dodgers at home next weekend, but he’s certainly usable despite the difficult matchup.

Rodriguez, 32, gave up two of those four runs in the seventh inning to turn a solid start into one that was just so-so — at least in terms of results. The southpaw did strike out five in the contest against one walk, but it wasn’t enough for the win. Rodriguez now has an ERA of 4.40, but a much-more impressive K/BB of 34/7 suggests that number is going to go down. His next chance to make good on that is scheduled for Tuesday against the Mets.

Ten hits is a lot, but so is nine strikeouts. The left-hander wasn’t exactly helped by his defense, but he was given plenty of run support while piling up the punchouts. Rodriguez now has an ERA of 4.09 and 38/6 K/BB over his 27 1/3 innings. He’ll try and keep up the (mostly) good work against the Rays next week.
