Rogers will get some time to recover and work on things out of the spotlight after struggling to a bloated 4.75 ERA. 1.45 WHIP and 27/10 K/BB ratio across 30 1/3 innings through six starts to open the season. He was scheduled to start against the Yankees on Saturday. The 28-year-old southpaw’s ugly first month is a tough development for the Orioles, and fantasy managers, after he looked like a certified ace with a 1.81 ERA (3.40 xERA), 0.90 WHIP and 103/29 K/BB ratio over 109 2/3 innings last year. He can be dropped in shallow mixed leagues, but the chance that he makes some adjustments that lead to immediate improvement make him worth hanging onto in deeper fantasy formats.

Rogers was replaced by long reliever Tyler Wells in the second inning after just 47 pitches. It was his shortest outing since his tenure with the Marlins back in 2022. He finished with a pair of strikeouts and issued two walks. All three runs crossed the plate with two outs in the second inning as he allowed five consecutive batters to reach base safely prior to being pulled. Simply put, the damage could’ve been even worse. He’s gotten off to an abysmal start with a bloated 4.75 ERA. 1.45 WHIP and 27/10 K/BB ratio across 30 1/3 innings through six starts. He’ll face the Yankees in a challenging road matchup on Friday. At this point, it’s tough for fantasy managers to justify throwing him out there, especially in a one-start week.

Rogers struck out five batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of free passes. The Guardians scratched out an unearned run against him in the third inning, then broke the game open with four runs in the fourth including a solo shot by Jose Ramirez. Ramirez also tagged him again in the fifth inning. Rogers generated eight whiffs on 95 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 35 percent. He’ll try to bounce back as he carries a 4.08 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 25/8 K/BB ratio (28 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Red Sox.

Rogers got through four scoreless despite allowing one or two baserunners each frame. The Diamondbacks finally got to him in the fifth, starting a second rally following Ildemaro Vargas’s three-run homer with one out. Rico Garcia eventually took over to strand Jose Fernandez on second base. Rogers finished with six strikeouts tonight, and though he gave up nine hits, he allowed just five hard-hit balls. He’ll take a 2-1 record and a 3.04 ERA into his next start against the Guardians.

Rogers has given up multiple runs in back-to-back starts, and while that’s obviously just fine when we’re talking about two runs over six innings both times, it’s something that never happened last year, when Smith allowed one run or fewer in 13 of his 18 outings. Both runs today came in the third, as the White Sox put together three straight hits with two outs, none of them leaving the bat at over 90 mph. Rogers exited the game in line for a loss, but the Orioles let him off the hook in the eighth, leaving him 2-0 with a 1.89 ERA ahead of his next start Sunday against the Giants or Monday versus the Diamondbacks.

He allowed six hits, walked one and struck out three. Rogers isn’t known as a groundball pitcher, but he’s done better there than usual in both of his starts thus far, allowing him to make up for a modest 8/5 K/BB through 13 innings. He’ll get the White Sox next.

Rogers walked four, hit a batter and had the leadoff hitter on against him in five of the seven innings (once because of a Tyler O’Neill error), but the Twins just never capitalized. All three hits he gave up were singles, and he got three double play balls while also striking out five. Rogers’ modest strikeout rate is reason to think he won’t be able to approach his 2025 numbers this season, but he’s had a remarkable knack for stranding runners since returning from the minors last year. He’ll take on the Rangers next.

Rogers allowed seven hits on the evening and didn’t walk a batter. The 28-year-old southpaw navigated the first four innings without any issue, but the Pirates strung together two singles, a ground out and another single to push a pair of runs across in the fifth inning. Rogers got 11 swings and misses on 82 pitches on the night — six of those on his slider — while posting a CSW of 30 percent. He finishes the spring with a stellar 2.51 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 16/1 K/BB ratio across 14 1/3 innings. His next assignment will come on Opening Day against the Twins.

Rogers recorded three strikeouts, issued one walk and threw 61 pitches (41 strikes) in his first spring outing since being named Baltimore’s Opening Day starter. The 28-year-old southpaw revived his career last season with a stellar 1.81 ERA (3.40 xERA), 0.90 WHIP and 103/29 K/BB ratio across 109 2/3 innings over 18 starts. There are a wide range of opinions regarding where he should be selected in fantasy drafts this spring, but he makes sense as a top 35-40 range starting pitcher, which puts him squarely in SP3 territory.

The 28-year-old southpaw is certainly deserving of the honor after posting a scintillating 1.81 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 103/29 K/BB ratio over 109 2/3 innings in his 18 starts with the O’s. It’s a nice matchup for him as well as the Twins’ lineup is loaded with left-handed hitters.

Rogers gave up homers to Ceddanne Rafela and Ray-Patrick Didder on a tough day against a lineup loaded with right-handers. His velocity was fine today, and he’d opened the spring with five scoreless innings coming into this one. But, obviously, he wasn’t facing Ray-Patrick Didder in those games.

Rogers looks ready to continue where he left off last season. The left-hander pounded the zone with his four-seamer at 92.6 mph and induced whiffs on 29 percent of the swings against him. Even if Rogers regresses from the 1.81 ERA he had in 109 2/3 innings last year, he looks set for another strong season.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. soft single produced the only baserunner against Rogers. The lefty’s velocity is already right where it was in 2025, and the only question he’s facing this spring is whether it will be or Kyle Bradish who gets named Baltimore’s Opening Day starter.

Rogers came out of nowhere in 2025 to post a 1.81 ERA and 103 strikeouts over 109 2/3 innings with the Orioles. Even if he will undoubtedly regress from there, he should be counted on for solid production in the Baltimore rotation next year. They’ll need him to because, as of now, he and Kyle Bradish are the team’s top two starting pitchers heading into 2026.

Rogers simply could not keep the ball in the yard here. Giancarlo Stanton took him deep for a two-run shot in the first and then Aaron Judge and Stanton again did so in the third. Those were the only hits he’d give up, but it was still enough to chase him after three innings. He hadn’t allowed a long ball since all the way back on August 30th and it’s a shame that his resurgent season ended with a poor start like this one. Still, he turned in a beautiful 1.81 ERA with a 10-_ record and 103 strikeouts over 109 2/3 innings as one of the most surprising pitchers this year.

Rogers struck out seven and walked none in his latest gem. In 17 starts this season, he’s allowed no earned runs five times, one earned run eight times, two earned runs three times and three earned runs once. Add it all up and it amounts to a 1.35 ERA to go along with a 9-2 record. He’s due to face the Yankees again next Friday.

Rogers was lifted after five innings against the Blue Jays on Friday night due to a blood blister under the nail on his left big toe. It’s an issue that he has dealt with in the past and believes that he can manage, though it bothered him more than usual during Friday’s start. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his status over the next couple of days, but it sounds like he may not need to miss a start.

Rogers had allowed just one unearned run on three hits and four walks while striking out six batters over his five innings of work before exiting. That’s the reason he was lifted after only 79 pitches. He’ll head for further evaluation. It’s unclear at the moment whether or not it will impact the 27-year-old southpaw’s ability to make his next scheduled start.

Rogers allowed more than one run for the first time in eight starts and failed to complete six innings for the first time in 11 starts, yet he was still pretty good; he struck out six and got 16 whiffs. Both runs followed leadoff doubles from Miguel Rojas. He’s due to face the Blue Jays next weekend.

Remember when people were laughing about the Orioles giving up quality prospects to get Rogers? That was adorable. The southpaw allowed just five hits, struck out five and walked no one. This makes four straight starts that Rogers has worked at least seven innings, and he hasn’t allowed more than one run in a start since July 20. Crazy. Rogers takes a 1.39 ERA into a start scheduled for Saturday against the Dodgers.

Even with his fastball down by 1.1 mph and his changeup 1.7 mph off its season average, Rogers turned in one of his best performances to date. It’s the fifth straight start in which he’s allowed exactly one run. Before that, he allowed one hit in seven scoreless innings on July 26. He has an absurd 1.40 ERA through 13 starts this season. He’s due to face the Giants next.

He struck out seven and had 15 whiffs with a 34% CSW in his latest gem. Rogers has allowed exactly one run in four straight starts and a total of nine runs in his last 10 turns. It’s one of the most stunning developments of the season, and it shows no real sign of ending. He’ll face the slumping Astros on Sunday.

Rogers was once again sensational, and he blanked the Mariners over six innings before giving up a triple to Julio Rodríguez and an RBI single to Josh Naylor in the seventh. The southpaw didn’t issue a walk and struck out six, and his ERA is a sparkling 1.43 in a no-too-small sample of 63 1/3 innings. It’s understandable if people are skeptical, but Rogers should absolutely be in fantasy lineups next week against the Red Sox.

Rogers was hit harder than Ranger Suárez, but the eight hits he gave up were spread out and he never yielded a big blow, like Suárez did in allowing a three-run homer. Incredibly, Rogers has a 1.44 ERA through 10 big-league starts this season. The strikeout rate isn’t there to suggest he’ll keep this going, but he might last as a mixed-league guy the rest of the way. He’ll face the Mariners next.

Rogers racked up eight strikeouts on the afternoon and didn’t walk a batter. The only blemish on his day came in the form of a sacrifice fly off the bat of Ian Happ in the second inning, which just so happened to be the only run that either team would score in the contest. Rogers got 13 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the day — five each on his fastball and changeup — while registering an elite CSW of 38 percent. He’ll look to get back in the win column as he carries an impressive 1.44 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and a 48/13 K/BB ratio (56 1/3 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Phillies in Philadelphia.

Rogers made his best start of the season on Saturday, holding the Rockies scoreless over seven innings on his way to a win. He allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out five batters. The 27-year-old left-hander ends the day with a 1.49 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, and a 40/13 K/BB ratio across 48 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Cubs in Chicago on Friday.

The left-hander struck out three and walked two while posting a 13 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW. As we’ve come to expect, this was not a dominant performance, and Rogers didn’t really miss many bats. However, he did control the zone with his changeup and didn’t allow much hard contact. One thing to watch is that his fastball velocity was down over one mph, with him sitting at 92.3 mph on the day. We’re going to want him around 93 mph or higher to feel good about consistently using him in fantasy leagues. He does get a cushy matchup next time out at home against the Rockies.

Rogers put together one of his best starts of the season on Saturday against he former team. He worked around an error in the first inning, then scattered two hits and two walks while striking out eight batters before his day was done with two outs in the seventh inning at 99 pitches. He’d leave with a runner on, who’d eventually come in to score. The 27-year-old left-hander closes the first half with a 1.53 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and a 32/10 K/BB ratio across 35 1/3 innings.
