The Pirates jumped all over Senzatela for two runs in the first and three more in the second. He was able to miss bats with his fastball up in the zone, but struggled to command his secondary stuff and was hit hard because of it. Eight of the nine hitters in the Pirates lineup registered a hard-hit ball and everyone seemed ready to take aim against Senzatela. His next start is scheduled to come on the road against the Astros.

Senzatela, who missed his last two starts with a blister, left with a 1-0 lead and then watched Luis Peralta give up homers to the first two batters he faced in the sixth. It’s the first time since August 29, 2021 that Senzatela has pitched at least five innings and gone without allowing a run. He’ll face the Pirates next weekend.

Senzatela takes the ball for Sunday’s series finale against the division-rival Diamondbacks following a two-week absence due to a blister on his right middle finger. The 30-year-old, who holds an inflated 7.34 ERA across 103 innings (22 appearances, 21 starts) this season, has never solved the Coors Field challenge, but he’ll keep giving it a shot. In the meantime, he can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats.

Senzatela will be back after missing the minimum 15 days on the injured list due to a blister on the middle of his finger. The only fantasy relevance here is that you might want to load up your lineup with Diamondbacks as this is a pitcher with a 7.34 ERA in 2025 over 22 appearances.

Senzatela heads to the injured list after recording only two outs and getting absolutely annihilated for eight runs on seven hits during Friday’s slugfest against the Pirates. The 30-year-old is a complete non-factor for fantasy managers since he doesn’t miss bats and boasts a stratospheric 7.34 ERA across 103 innings (22 appearances, 21 starts) this season.

Senzatela gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out none. He didn’t make it out of the first inning for the first time this year. Sanzatela has a 7.34 ERA in 22 starts this season and can safely be left on waiver wires everywhere. He’s lined up to face the Blue Jays at home next week.

Senzatela hit a batter and issued a walk to put two runners on before Ryan O’Hearn knocked a base hit to put the Orioles on the board with one run in the first inning. He then served up a two-run homer to Tyler O’Neill in the second. Cedric Mullins later took him deep for a three-run shot to break the game open in the fourth inning. That would do it for Senzatela. He’ll take a 6.68 ERA, 1.84 WHIP, and a 55/36 K/BB ratio across 102 1/3 innings into a start against the Pirates in Colorado on Friday.

It’s the first time in 2025 that Senzatela has recorded an out past the seventh inning. He still has an obscene 6.41 ERA on the season and this win “improved” his record to 4-13 on the season, but hey, this wasn’t all that bad. It’s a poor idea to trust him going forward to put up similar numbers, including a scheduled start Friday against the Orioles.

Mike Maroth, who was 9-21 for the awful 2003 Tigers, is the only pitcher to take 20 losses since 1980. At this point, it’d be an upset if Senzatela stays healthy and fails to become the second pitcher on that list. After all, the Rockies are probably only going to subtract talent at the deadline.

The 30-year-old hurler struck out four batters on the evening while issuing one base on balls. Senzatela actually pitched decently in this one, giving up a two-run single to Michael A. Taylor in the fourth inning and a solo blast to Edgar Quero in the sixth, but otherwise he kept the White Sox’ offense at bay. He got nine swings and misses on 95 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 26 percent. Now 3-12 on the season, he’ll carry an uninspiring 6.57 ERA and 1.90 WHIP into Wednesday’s matchup against the Red Sox in Boston.

Senzatela is back in the L column after keeping his total at 10 through his first four outings in June; he took no-decisions his first two times out and then won his last wo starts. This makes him 3-11 with a 6.69 ERA. He’s due to pitch at home against the White Sox next time out.

Senzatela gave up four hits, walked one and struck out five. After winning just one of his first 14 starts this year, the 30-year-old right-hander has won back-to-back starts. Senzatela still has a 6.48 ERA on the year and can’t be counted on for fantasy production at this point in his career. He’s lined up to face the Brewers on the road next weekend.

A pretty incredible outing here. Senzatela struck out none and walked three. He gave up 12 hard-hit balls, but only one turned into a hit, that being a double from Josh Bell. He also gave up a couple of singles. The victory makes him 2-10 with a 6.72 ERA. He’s due to pitch at home against the D-backs on Sunday.

Senzatela walked three and threw two wild pitches, which is kind of notable from someone who had thrown a total of 11 in 754 career innings coming into the day. He left down five runs in the fifth, but he avoided falling to 1-11 because of a big comeback that might well go down as the highlight of the Rockies’ season. He’ll face the Nationals next.

Senzatela followed opener Ryan Rolison in this game and was effective enough to shut the Mets out despite them putting at least one runner on base in three of his four innings. Alas, perhaps the Rockies are somewhat modernizing – relatively, of course – by using an opener ahead of Senzatela who’s struggled this season with a 6.68 ERA.

10 losses on May 31. 10 losses before his team has even won 10 games. Senzatela is definitely struggling, but so is everyone in the rotation, and between the Coors Field factor and the lack of any competence around them, it’s tough to say just how bad these Rockies starters are right now. Senzatela figures to remain in the rotation in spite of his 7.14 ERA, and he’ll probably make his next start at home against the Mets.

Senzatela’s outing ended with the rain delay, but he wasn’t going to last much longer anyway. He lost a sixth straight start and dropped to 1-9 with a 6.50 ERA for the season. He’ll take on the Mets in New York next weekend.

The Phillies put three runs on the board in the first inning against Senzatela on three hits and a sacrifice fly. He tossed three scoreless frames before a walk and a double brought a fourth run in to score in the fifth. Senzatela pitched one more inning and end his day after six with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 6.34 ERA, 1.97 WHIP, and a 25/14 K/BB ratio over 49 2/3 innings into a start against the Yankees in Colorado on Sunday.

While the Padres hit Senzatela hard, his defense did him no favors either. Kyle Farmer booted a ground ball from Fernando Tatis Jr. to start the third inning that set up a four-run rally of unearned runs. Senzatela’s velocity was actually up in this start, touching 98 mph with his fastball. Still, he, like most other Rockies pitchers, should not be viewed as realistic options in most fantasy leagues.

With the loss, Senzatela now is 1-5 on the season. Sometimes wins and losses don’t do a great job of telling the story of how well a pitcher is throwing. This one seems pretty apt. The 30-year-old gets the Tigers next week at home, and he should be as far away from fantasy lineups as possible for that start scheduled for Thursday.

Senzatela stranded a baserunner in the first inning, then gave up a two-run blast to Noelvi Marte in the second. Austin Hays later took Senzatela deep for a pair of solo homers in the fourth and sixth innings. He gave up a base hit with no outs folling Hays’s homer in the sixth and that would be it. The 30-year-old right-hander struck out four. He’ll take a 5.22 ERA, 1.88 WHIP, and a 13/5 K/BB ratio across 29 1/3 innings into a start against the Giants in San Francisco on Friday.

The 30-year-old right-hander walked one and struck out two opposing hitters on the night. The Nationals scratched out a run against him in the top of the first inning as James Wood worked a leadoff walk, advanced to second on a ground ball and scored on an RBI single off the bat of Nathaniel Lowe. Senzatela then settled in and finished his day with five scoreless innings. He got just three swings and misses on 83 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll see if he can build off of this strong start as he totes a 4.81 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and a 9/5 K/BB ratio (24 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Reds.

Need to get your batting average up? Make sure you’re in the lineup against Antonio Senzatela. He’s now allowed 36 hits over his four starts, and that’s over only 18 innings. Two of those hits allowed were homers; a two-run shot by Mookie Betts and a solo blast by Shohei Ohtani. Senzatela will either give up 15 hits or throw a no-hitter against the Nationals over the weekend because that’s how this sport works.
