The financial details are not public at the moment, but Schneider was heading into the final year of his contract, so he will now be under contract with the Blue Jays through the 2028 season. After taking the Blue Jays to the World Series last season and finishing second in the AL Manager of the Year race, it’s certainly a deserved deal for Schneider.

Holobetz, 22, was the Brewers’ fifth-round pick out of Old Dominion last year. He’s started his pro career by going 3-0 with a 3.00 ERA and a 31/5 K/BB in 24 innings for low-A Carolina this season.
