Siani was claimed by the Braves off waivers from the Cardinals in November and then claimed by the Dodgers off waivers from the Braves in December, but was then waived by the Dodgers earlier this week to make room for Kyle Tucker. The 26-year-old outfielder will now join his fourth team this offseason. He has just a .688 career OPS in the minors, but is a good defender and baserunner, which makes him good depth for an organization.

Siani will likely go on waivers for a third time this winter after previously bring dropped by the Cardinals and Braves. As a top-flight center fielder with pinch-running ability, he’s a decent bench option on the right team. He just shouldn’t be starting games very often.

Siani, 26, was designated for assignment by Atlanta after the team signed Mike Yastrzemski. The outfielder is a terrific defender, and he should be a late-inning option for Los Angeles in 2026 — assuming he sticks in the organization, of course.

It clears space on the 40-man roster for Mike Yastrzemski. Siani was claimed off waivers in November from the Cardinals, and because he’s such a strong defensive player, there’s a good chance he’s claimed again before the end of December.

Siani doesn’t offer much from an offensive standpoint, but he’s a phenomenal defender which makes him an ideal fit for Atlanta as a reserve outfielder. The 26-year-old figures to open next spring in a bench role if he makes it through the offseason on the club’s 40-man roster.

The Cardinals had to make room on their active roster for the return of Jordan Walker (wrist) on Saturday and it appears as though Siani drew the short straw this time around. The 25-year-old outfielder has hit .235/.316/.235 with zero RBI and a 7/2 K/BB ratio in 19 plate appearances with the Cardinals this season.

The 29-year-old infielder will get his first shot with the Blue Jays while Andrés Giménez hits the injured list with a right quad strain. Stefanic hit .319/.454/.372 with zero homers, 13 RBI, four stolen bases and a 14/18 K/BB ratio over 119 plate appearances at Triple-A Buffalo. He’s unlikely to see enough playing time to gain relevance from a fantasy perspective.

Thomas Saggese will keep his spot on the Cardinals even though Masyn Winn and Nolan Gorman are healthy. Siani’s exit is good news for Victor Scott II, though playing time hasn’t been much of an issue for him thus far. Siani, who spent much of last season as the Cardinals’ primary center fielder, was hitting .250/.294/.250 in 17 plate appearances after losing out to Scott this spring.
