Teodosio’s 394-foot homer gave the Angels their only runs off Cole Ragans. It came in his 148th career plate appearance, and he now has a .201/.236/.302 line to date. That’s unfortunate, because he really is an excellent center fielder. However, the combination of very little power and poor plate discipline would seem to make him a poor use of a major league roster spot.

Teodosio has managed to avoid a trip to the injured list for now following an early exit from Friday’s contest after hitting his head on the center-field wall. The 26-year-old rookie outfielder is presumably day-to-day for now. There should be some additional clarity on his status at some point this weekend. It’ll be Jo Adell moving over to cover center field in his absence.

The 26-year-old outfielder hit his head on the wall in center field while making a nice catch in the ballgame. He stayed in the game for another couple of innings but was ultimately pulled. He’ll probably have to pass through the concussion protocol before he’s cleared to return to action.

Teodosio, called up Saturday, went 1-for-12 in five games last season and was 0-for-4 in two games this season before a fine performance tonight. He’s probably going to settle in as a quad-A guy, since he hasn’t ever hit the ball hard consistently. However, he is an excellent basestealer, so if ever did manage to take a step forward, he’d quickly become interesting in fantasy leagues.

Teodosio takes the roster spot of LaMonte Wade Jr., who was released in a corresponding move. The 26-year-old has been limited by injuries in 2025, but has slashed an impressive .321/.368/.491 for Triple-A Salt Lake. He’ll likely just be a reserve option for the final few months of the season.
