Cardinals acquired LHP Mason Molina, RHP Skylar Hales and international bonus pool money from the Rangers for RHP Phil Maton.

It’s the second time this calendar year that the 22-year-old southpaw has been dealt, as he was acquired from the Brewers for right-hander Grant Anderson back in early January. Molina has posted a 3.41 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a 92/28 K/BB ratio over 74 innings in 18 appearances (17 starts) between Single-A Hickory and High-A Hub City this season.
