Wagner will be away from the team for a few days to attend his father’s long-awaited induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The 26-year-old infielder was recalled in late June and has been seeing regular time at third base for Toronto.

The 26-year-old infielder will add some depth to the Blue Jays’ infield with Alan Roden heading back to Triple-A Buffalo. Wagner has hit just .186 (11-for-59) with zero homers with two homers and one stolen base in his limited action with the big league club this season.
