Twins outfield prospect Gabriel Gonzalez is being promoted from Double-A to Triple-A.

Gonzalez had a disappointing first season in the Twins system after arriving in the Jorge Polanco deal with Seattle, but he’s been a force this season, hitting .319/.378/.529 in 34 games in High-A and then .344/.429/.509 in 55 games in Double-A. It’s unlikely that he’ll make his major league debut at age 21 this season, but he’s now just the one step away.
