It appeared the Celtics hoped to rest Queta for Saturday’s loss to the Bulls, but he wound up playing 24 minutes, in part because Luka Garza tweaked his left ankle during the first half. Rookie Amari Williams started for Queta, but he only played ten minutes. If Queta can’t play, Garza is more likely to benefit than Williams, regardless of who starts.

Due to a bone contusion in his left knee, Risacher has not appeared in a game since January 7. Being assigned to the Hawks’ G League affiliate is a step in the right direction, as it’s a sign that he’s able to do some on-court work. While Vit Krejčí was Risacher’s replacement in the starting lineup in the immediate aftermath of his knee injury, Corey Kispert has been the most recent replacement. Neither player should be rostered in most fantasy leagues.

Chicago’s decision to guard Brown one-on-one without help proved costly, as he torched them for 20 first-half points on an absurdly efficient 7-of-10 shooting from inside three-point range. The 29-year-old franchise cornerstone’s effort was even more impressive considering he played a whopping 46 minutes during Friday night’s double-overtime win over the Nets and has been dealing with a lingering hamstring issue. He saved his best for the final minute going coast-to-coast for a game-tying layup with 14.2 seconds left in regulation. The herculean effort wasn’t enough for Boston as Chicago knocked down 21 three-pointers to squeak out a narrow win. The Celtics have a four-game week on tap that includes matchups against the Trail Blazers, Hawks, Kings and Bucks.

Simons helped nearly spoil Derek Rose night in Chicago by doing his best impression, getting downhill and attacking the rim in addition to supplying his usual barrage of three-pointers. It was his first 20-point effort since going off for 39 points against the Heat back on January 15. The 26-year-old scoring machine contributed a strong all-around fantasy effort in this one, supplying a handful of rebounds, assists and steals. He remains a defensive liability but he’s capable of scoring in bunches when he gets hot.

While Neemias Queta (illness) is available, he’ll come off the bench on Saturday. And instead of Luka Garza, who played 20 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Nets, it will be Williams who starts. Pritchard has been inconsistent recently, but he was able to have a big night in this game. This was his highest-scoring game in over a month, and it was enough to help Boston get the win in double overtime. Brown really struggled with his shot in this game, but he found other ways to make an impact and help Boston secure the win in double overtime. He fell short of scoring at least 30 points for a fourth straight game, but he was able to record his second triple-double of the season. Brown is enjoying the best scoring season of his career, but he has also stepped up as a playmaker. He’ll continue to be dominant in fantasy basketball for the rest of the season, and he should be more efficient as a scorer moving forward.

McCollum hasn’t been great with the Hawks, but he has been a consistent source of points. That held true in this game. McCollum should continue to see plenty of minutes for Atlanta, mostly as a reserve, but his impact in category leagues will remain limited. Okongwu remains limited on the glass, but he has been able to make an impact in a multitude of categories consistently. He also led the Hawks in scoring in the win. While he did shoot 60 percent from the field and record a complete stat line, this was a rough night for Okongwu. In addition to fouling out, the Hawks’ center committed a season-high seven turnovers. Johnson wasn’t among the ten players named starters for next month’s All-Star Game, but there’s little doubt that he should be making the trip. The Hawks’ forward recorded another stellar stat line on Wednesday, finishing two assists shy of a triple-double. Johnson has been a fantasy cornerstone this season, and that should be the case for future seasons as well.

With Zaccharie Risacher (knee) still out, the Hawks decided to go with Corey Kispert (two points, one rebound, one assist and one steal) as the fifth starter instead of McCollum or Vit Krejčí (zero points, two assists). However, this did not prevent McCollum from being the one on the court as the Hawks mounted a fourth-quarter rally. More concerning than the role was McCollum playing 24 minutes. Okongwu was Atlanta’s top scorer on the evening, finishing as one of only two Hawks players to reach the 20-point mark. More than half of his production came from beyond the arc, and Thursday’s outing marked the fourth time this January that he’s tallied at least three made three-pointers in a game.
