Wolf hadn’t scored at least 20 points in a game since November 29 against the Bucks. The 21-year-old power forward also had nine rebounds and five assists, giving him an excellent stat line. Traoré entered Friday having scored in double figures in three of his prior four games, but that’s not why his rostership has increased recently. Claxton’s production was limited on Friday, as he failed to record any defensive stats in the 37-point defeat. Add in the lackluster rebounding production, and this was a challenging night for those who have Claxton rostered. And it was worse for those who had hopped onto the Day’Ron Sharpe (2/5/3) bandwagon, as he played 15 minutes and shot 1-of-7 from the field. At this point in the season, there are two concerns for Porter managers: the Nets shut him down, or the team gets blown out. The latter scenario occurred on Friday, limiting MPJ to 26 minutes. Nelson enjoyed a productive stint with Alabama to finish out the last two years of his college career, and he’s posted solid numbers for the Long Island Nets of the G League this season. He’ll get some run for the parent club down the stretch, and given Brooklyn’s record and incentive to play its young players, it wouldn’t be surprising if Nelson sees meaningful rotation minutes at some point before the 2025-26 campaign ends.

Having totaled 17 points in his last three games, Wolf was more productive against the Spurs. The 14 points were the most the rookie has scored in a game since the Nets’ final game before the All-Star break, with Wolf hitting that number in a loss to the Pacers. His fantasy value for the rest of the season depends partly on Michael Porter Jr.'s availability. When MPJ is logging starters’ minutes, as he did on Thursday, it’s challenging to get too much value out of Wolf. Sharpe only played 19 minutes in Thursday’s game, but that was more than enough time for him to record his first double-double since the All-Star break and fifth of the season. It has been over a month since Kuminga last suited up, and when he did, it was for the Warriors. In his first game with Atlanta, it appears Golden State gave up on him too quickly. Claxton may not have done much on the glass or as a shot-blocker, but he provided excellent value in the assist and steal categories on Tuesday. The nine helpers were the most in a game for him since December 6, when Clax dished out ten as part of a triple-double against the Pelicans. Traoré had another impressive performance on Friday, scoring in double figures for the fifth time in his past six appearances.
