Curry is back after a two-game absence, and no effort will be required to insert him back into the starting lineup. It was a quieter night offensively for Daniels, but he was able to continue to swipe some steals. This was his 10th-straight game with at least two steals. That is the longest streak in the NBA this season, surpassing two separate nine-game streaks, both of which were set by Daniels. This was also his 44th-straight game with at least one steal, which is tied for the 19th-longest streak in league history. Daniels’ has been swiping the ball at a historic rate, and he now sits at 208 steals, which is tied for 51st in NBA history for a single season. He has nine more games to ascend up the leaderboard.

Krejci made the move back into the starting unit in place of Mouhamed Gueye, who wasn’t in the rotation at all on Thursday. Krejci hasn’t been a great fantasy option as a reserve, but when he has started this year, he has been productive. His 14 points were the most that he has had in a game since January, and he was able to provide some value in other categories with the increased opportunity. Atlanta only has one more game with week, but with a four-game week coming up, Krejci could hold some value.

Young didn’t have a ton of help from his teammates, but he was able to have another monster night. This was his third-straight game with exactly 12 assists, and of his four consecutive double-doubles, he has had at least 25 points in three of them. Turnovers continue to plague him, but that will always be an issue. He has been more efficient as a shooter recently. He has shot 51.5 percent from the floor over Atlanta’s last six games, which has him ranked 13th in nine-cat formats on Basketball Monster during that stretch. Managers shouldn’t expect him to stay this hot, but it is an enjoyable hot streak.

Krejci will replace Mouhamed Gueye in the starting unit, and while Gueye has been a fixture of Atlanta’s starting lineup since before the All-Star break, he hasn’t seen the workload that an NBA starter usually does. Krejci should be closer to typical starters minutes, and he did have an effective stretch as a starter in January, which gives him some upside if he remains in this role.

No specifics were provided regarding Payton’s injury or its severity, but that will change Thursday evening when the Warriors release their injury report for Friday’s game in New Orleans. He has averaged 21.7 minutes per game over the past two weeks, providing 10th-round value in nine-cat formats. Payton’s absence would be most impactful defensively, as he is one of the Warriors’ best defenders. Moses Moody, who’s in the starting lineup, will have added importance as the Warriors move onward without GPII.

Yikes. To call Butler’s performance underwhelming would be a monster understatement. Making his return to Kaseya Center for the first time since getting traded to Golden State, all eyes were on Butler, and he played arguably his worst game since joining the Warriors. Butler was deferential on offense, taking only 12 shots and failing to get to the charity stripe with regularity. As if the poor scoring wasn’t bad enough, he did next to nothing in the peripheral categories as his team got blasted on the road. Butler recorded solid numbers in the points and assist categories, but he may have done a little too much attempting to compensate for Stephen Curry’s absence.
