Hart has missed New York’s last four games with a sprained right ankle, most recently sitting out Friday’s loss to the Hawks. He has resumed on-court activities and, based on the Knicks’ new timeline, will miss at least three more games. Following that, the Knicks begin a four-game road trip in Phoenix on January 9. With Karl-Anthony Towns (illness) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) out, Hukporti made his fourth start of the season on Friday. He didn’t provide much value as a scorer, but the rebounding and shot-blocking were superb. It was the kind of performance that may make some question whether Hukporti can consistently fill a role similar to Robinson’s. Still, it doesn’t change anything regarding his short-term fantasy value.

Anunoby recorded his fourth double-double of the season on Friday, but he remains in a shooting slump. Over his last five games, the Knicks’ wing has shot 35.5 percent from the field. The good news for fantasy managers is that Anunoby’s overall production has preserved most of his fantasy value. However, as a top-75 fantasy player during this slump, OG would be far more valuable with improved shooting.

Daniels took on the task of defending Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, who had to work hard for his 24 points. The Great Barrier Thief’s defensive work only yielded two steals, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. From a fantasy standpoint, Daniels dished out eight assists, and managers also benefited from the six rebounds. He’s providing top-75 per-game value in eight-cat formats, with the foul shooting (60.3 percent) being the most significant issue.

It’s safe to say that Okongwu likes playing against the Knicks. After hitting six three-pointers in Saturday’s home loss to New York, he hit three more in Friday’s road victory. Even as Kristaps Porziņģis (4/8/2/2 in 17 minutes) works his way back from illness, Okongwu’s playing time and opportunities won’t be an issue. That’s excellent news for those who have him rostered.

After recording a double-double in seven straight appearances, Johnson posted his first triple-double since December 14, which was part of a streak of four consecutive triple-doubles. While the Hawks forward has been elite all season long, it’s no secret that his fantasy ceiling is raised when Trae Young (quad) is unavailable. Daniels hasn’t been as highly touted in fantasy basketball this season, mostly because his steals are down and his scoring has been rough. The good news for Okongwu managers is that the rebounds and assists were there. Unfortunately, the field-goal percentage took a beating with his 5-of-16 night against the Heat. The issue for Okongwu was three-point shooting, as he missed all five of his attempts. Through 11 games in December, he’s shot 15-of-59 from deep, which works out to 25.4 percent. Johnson finished one rebound shy of a triple-double for the second straight game, leaving his total at six on the season. The good news for those who have the Hawks forward rostered is that Trae Young’s return from a knee injury has not negatively affected Johnson’s fantasy value.
