With his parents sitting courtside, Johnson recorded his third double-double of the season on Monday. He has been Atlanta’s most valuable fantasy option, and Trae Young’s absence has raised Johnson’s ceiling. Interestingly, Mouhamed Gueye, who started for Johnson on Saturday, only played eight minutes off the bench. While the decrease in playing time was expected, Gueye falling out of the rotation completely was a surprise. The Hawks have a Wednesday/Thursday back-to-back, which will impact the fantasy prospects of Johnson and Gueye.

Despite being a fixture in the Hawks’ starting lineup when available, Porziņģis has just three 20-point games in eight appearances. A perfect night at the foul line gave his point total a welcome boost on Monday, but fantasy managers can also benefit from the assists and blocked shots. Porziņģis is providing fifth-round value in fantasy basketball, which aligns with his Yahoo! ADP of 53. Onyeka Okongwu returned to the bench on Monday after starting Saturday’s win over the Lakers, finishing with 10 points, six rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes. While most of the Hawks’ regulars were back in the lineup for Monday’s game, Krejčí was the standout against the Clippers. He played 30 minutes, finishing with career-highs in points and three-pointers. He has hit double digits in minutes in five straight games, and that may remain the case until Trae Young returns from his knee injury. However, Monday’s performance is not enough to make Krejčí a player worth adding anytime soon in redraft leagues.

Wagner has now scored 20 points or more in eight of Orlando’s 10 games, but Sunday’s performance was far from vintage for him. Frequent trips to the foul line salvaged what was a poor night from the field, with Wagner shooting 5-of-17 two nights after going 9-of-18 in an NBA Cup victory over the Celtics. However, the rebounds, assists and steals were certainly valuable, and a reminder that Wagner doesn’t need a high-scoring to impact fantasy basketball. A double-digit scorer in three straight games, Suggs finished Sunday with his first 20-point outing of the season. And he was highly efficient, shooting 75 percent from the field. However, what was most notable about Suggs’ performance on Sunday was his playing a season-high 29 minutes. Before that, he had not surpassed 21 minutes for injury management reasons. The rookie returned to the rotation with the Hawks playing without five key pieces, and he delivered energy off the bench, which resulted in production in the box score. Both Newell and Vit Krejci scored 17 points off the bench and joined all five starters in scoring in double figures. The Hawks played this game without their top four scorers, which meant that more offensive responsibility fell to Daniels. While he didn’t provide his typical dose of steals, he was able to turn in his best offensive performance of the season and set a new career-high for assists. Though he won’t get this many assists often, he has averaged seven assists per game since Trae Young (knee) went down. Gueye moved into the starting lineup in place of Jalen Johnson (quad), and he took advantage of the opportunity. This was his second start of the year, and he has made a big impact both times. Gueye was one of seven players to score in double figures for the Hawks in what was a dominant win for a shorthanded squad.
