Landale has been diagnosed with a high right ankle sprain sustained during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s win over the Magic. With the two-week timeline being for a re-evaluation, the veteran backup is not guaranteed to be available when the playoffs begin. Landale’s injury leaves Mouhamed Gueye to serve as the backup center in the short term. As for the playoffs, starter Onyeka Okongwu will likely be asked to take on a heavier workload if Landale is not back by then.

Back in the lineup after sitting out Monday’s win over the Hawks, Queta finished Wednesday’s victory with his 15th double-double of the season. Add in the assists and blocks, and this was a good night for those rostering the Celtics’ starting center. Luka Garza, who started on Monday, played 15 minutes in Miami, finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, one block and two three-pointers. Boston does not have another back-to-back in Week 23, so the roles of Queta and Garza should remain the same.

Tatum recorded his first triple-double since returning from his ruptured Achilles tendon, and he made some history on Wednesday. He is the third player in Celtics history to finish a game with at least 25 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, joining Larry Bird (eight times) and Dave Cowens (two). For Tatum to play at the level that he has, less than a year after such a significant injury, is highly impressive. For fantasy managers who stashed him in an IL spot, their patience has been rewarded.

The Celtics made 11 three-pointers in their 53-point first quarter, and Hauser was responsible for nearly half of them. He shot 5-of-5 from distance, finishing the period with 17 points. Hauser didn’t make another three-pointer, but the damage was done. Add in the defensive contributions, and this was one of his better performances since the All-Star break. Given the current state of the Bucks, it would be unsurprising if Hauser had another good night on Friday in Milwaukee.

Brown and the Celtics put on a show in the first quarter of Wednesday’s victory. As a team, Boston scored 53 points in the frame, with Brown putting up 20. He finished with 43, his seventh game this season with 40 or more. The Celtics end Week 23 with games against the Bucks and Raptors, two more opportunities for Brown to put up a gaudy stat line. While his name has not been mentioned as much as some other players in connection with the MVP award, Brown should be first-team All-NBA.

Landale injured his right ankle during the fourth quarter when he was fouled from behind by Orlando’s Goga Bitadze. While he did remain in the game to attempt his free throws, Landale exited immediately afterward and did not return. He’ll get imaging done on the ankle, but it’s possible that he won’t be available for Friday’s game in Brooklyn. If Landale sits, Mouhamed Gueye (two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 11 minutes) would move into the backup center role.

Johnson recorded his third double-double in as many games on Wednesday, finishing two assists shy of a triple-double. When a player is as productive across the board as Johnson was against the Magic, a 0-of-4 night from beyond the arc means little regarding his fantasy value. With the Hawks ending their week in Brooklyn on Friday, fantasy managers will hope to get another complete stat line out of Johnson.

Okongwu did not shoot the ball as well as he’s capable of, but the Hawks center did record a complete stat line in Orlando. He’s recorded four defensive contributions in consecutive games, the first time since March 10-12 that Okongwu has accomplished that feat. Add in the rebounds and assists, and this was a good night for those rostering Okongwu, even if the shots weren’t falling.

Alexander-Walker finished Wednesday’s blowout victory with his ninth 30-point game of the season, and he only played the first four minutes of the fourth quarter. The Hawks’ guard has scored at least 20 points in five of his last six appearances, and the 32 points were the most in a game for him since dropping 41 on the Magic on March 16. Atlanta plays just one more game in Week 23, but it’s against the lottery-bound Nets, which may be good news for those rostering Alexander-Walker.

With no Neemias Queta (thumb), the Celtics turned to Garza to man the middle in Atlanta. And he had a good night, recording his second 20-point game in less than two weeks. Garza, who played 28 minutes, was also responsible for nine rebounds in the 112-102 defeat. Boston does not have another back-to-back this week, which should bode well for Queta’s availability. And that limits Garza’s fantasy value.

Back in the Celtics’ lineup after missing Sunday’s win over the Hornets, White had a tough night shooting the basketball in Atlanta. He made one of his six attempts from three and was not much better from two, shooting 2-of-6. However, as has been the case throughout the season, White found other ways to add value. The Celtics’ guard finished with a complete stat line, helping lessen the impact of the poor shooting. Over the last two weeks, White has been shooting 33.8 percent from the field, which is low for a player of his caliber. The Celtics play three more games in Week 23, starting with the Heat on Wednesday.

For most perimeter players, shooting 2-of-3 from beyond the arc is not a big deal. That isn’t the case for Daniels, who entered Monday shooting a career-low 15.5 percent from three. However, he may be trending in the right direction. Over his last five games, Daniels has made six of his 13 attempts, an excellent percentage for a player who has struggled as much as he has. Add in the rebounds, assists and steals, and this was an encouraging start to Week 23 for Daniels.

Four Hawks starters, including Alexander-Walker, finished Monday’s victory with at least five assists.
