Horford was unavailable for Monday’s win over the Kings, the Celtics’ second game in as many nights. He has been removed from the injury report for Wednesday night and will likely start for Jayson Tatum (ankle) if he’s unable to play. While Tatum has not been officially ruled out for Wednesday’s game, he appears unlikely to be available after spraining his left ankle on Monday. Al Horford will be available in Phoenix and should be the choice to fill the void. Tatum’s absence would raise Horford’s fantasy ceiling slightly, but he remains a standard-league option at best.

Pritchard got his first start of the season on Sunday, but he returned to playing his typical role as Boston’s sixth man. That is where he has been most comfortable this year, and he was once again able to have a strong performance off the bench. This was his sixth-straight game with at least three three-pointers, which lines up with Boston’s current winning streak. Jayson Tatum (ankle) exited early with an ankle injury, and while that doesn’t mean that Pritchard will start, he should see a few extra minutes and shots.

Brown missed Boston’s last three games but was able to suit up against Sacramento. He only logged 26 minutes, but that was enough time for the Celtics to get a big win. Even when he was on the floor, it was a quiet performance for Brown. That isn’t something that managers should get used to, even if his last few appearances have been subpar. Jayson Tatum exited early with an ankle injury and could remain out in Phoenix on Wednesday, which would lead to extra shots for Brown.

Boston is calling this a left ankle sprain. Domantas Sabonis was assessed a flagrant foul after Tatum landed on Sabonis’ foot while coming down from shooting a three-pointer, which is when Tatum twisted his ankle. He shot the flagrant free throws but went back to the locker room after that. He had 25 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and five three-pointers in 26 minutes before injuring his ankle in the third quarter. Payton Pritchard and Baylor Scheierman should take on extra minutes with Tatum unavailable, and if Sam Hauser (back) is back to play in Phoenix on Wednesday, he could start if Tatum isn’t able to suit up.

While Sharpe has recorded three steals or more in three games this season, he isn’t expected to provide value in that category on most nights. Rostered in 13 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Sharpe has provided 12th-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Coming off the bench behind Nic Claxton negatively impacts Day’Ron’s fantasy value, but Nets coach Jordi Fernandez has been willing to play the two together on occasion.

While fantasy managers can undoubtedly use the points and assists recorded by Johnson on Monday, there were issues. The 1-of-7 night from three wasn’t a huge issue, as few fantasy leagues use three-point percentage as a scoring category. Unfortunately, the six turnovers will impact Johnson’s value in nine-cat formats during Week 21. The good news is that high-turnover nights have not been the norm for Cam, who has been a fourth-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. The Nets play three more games during Week 21, starting with the Raptors on Wednesday.

Claxton entered Monday shooting 1-of-16 from three on the season. Against the Mavericks, he made both of his attempts and shot 8-of-11 from the field. The points, rebounds and blocks are more reliable, so fantasy managers should not expect to see Nic turn into a face-up five overnight. However, with the Nets well out of the postseason race, these final games may be used as a testing ground for Claxton. We’ll see if he becomes more willing to take perimeter shots after Monday’s 2-of-2 effort from three.

With the Celtics playing Sunday’s game without three starters, Tatum would have to shoulder a heavier workload in Portland. He answered the call, finishing one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double. Over the past two weeks, Tatum has provided top-20 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, a three-game Week 21 may become two for Tatum, as the Celtics will visit the Kings on Monday. Hauser was scalding hot in Portland, shooting 8-of-10 from beyond the arc. While he did not provide much value in the other major fantasy categories, most managers know what they will get when streaming Hauser. Sunday was Pritchard’s annual opportunity to play in the state he grew up in. With Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday out due to injury, Pritchard moved into the starting lineup. Tatum was back in the lineup after missing Tuesday’s game against Brooklyn. With the way the schedule worked out, this was Tatum’s first game in almost a week. He extended his 20-point streak to six games, but the extra rest didn’t help his field goal percentage, and he compounded his inefficiencies by turning the ball over six times. Jaylen Brown is set to remain out on Sunday, so Tatum will continue to see a slight uptick in shots for Boston to close out the week, though that is the first leg of a back-to-back. It’s unclear which leg Tatum will play in, though he could play in both.

Boston was without Jaylen Brown for this game and is set to be without him again to close out the week on Sunday in Portland. That means that Pritchard should once again see some extra minutes. His numbers weren’t eye-popping, but he has scored in double figures in four straight games. Pritchard has certainly gone through some cold stretches this season, but when he starts to heat up, it usually lasts for a few games. Russell shrugged off a slow start to the game and ended up scoring at least 20 points for the second time since the All-Star break. It was still an inefficient shooting night, but that isn’t new for him. He has shot below 40 percent from the floor in five straight games and has shot 39.5 percent from the floor this season, which is a steep drop from his 45.6 percent shooting last year. Williams fell one point shy of tying his season-high, which he set back in November. However, he was able to set a new career-high for three-pointers made despite the loss. The 23-year-old has hit 13 three-pointers across his last three appearances and has provided top-75 value nine-cat leagues over the past two weeks. Watford was able to contribute solid value off the bench across his 27 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Pacers. He led the reserves in scoring and had at least 10 points for a third-straight game. However, his night came to an end with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter after he got into a heated scuffle with some Pacers players that ended with coaches prying players away.
