Allen’s double-double was his third in his last four games. The 26-year-old center was an absolute monster on the defensive end with five steals and a block against the Hornets Friday. Allen has made 15 consecutive free throws over his last five games, which only adds to his fantasy value. He’s provided sixth-round fantasy value on the season.

Mobley sat out Tuesday’s game against the Bulls for rest reasons, but has come back and posted a double-double in both games since. The 23-year-old center continues to have a breakout season that includes 29 double-doubles now. Mobley has been a fourth-round value in eight-category leagues since the All-Star break. Cleveland might look to give him some more nights off in the future as the Cavaliers prepare for a playoff run.

Mitchell missed all six of his 3-point attempts Friday, which was the first time he hadn’t made a 3-pointer in a game since February 16. The 28-year-old shooting guard instead continued to draw fouls and made 12-of-18 free throws. Mitchell has now attempted at least 11 free throws in four of his last six games. He’s scored at least 24 points in four straight games and seven of his last eight games. Fantasy managers will have to worry about potential rest days for Mitchell down the stretch given the Cavaliers’ huge lead for the No. 1 seed.

Brown did not play in Thursday’s win over the 76ers, sitting due to a sore knee. The game was also Boston’s second game in as many nights. He’ll return to the starting lineup, with Drew Peterson returning to the bench. Peterson, who logged 13 minutes on Thursday, may fall out of the rotation entirely.

Horford did not play in Thursday’s win over the 76ers, the Celtics’ second game in as many nights. Whether he starts or comes off the bench Saturday night will depend on the availability of Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Jrue Holiday (finger), who are questionable. Horford will be among the starters if one (or both) cannot play.

Porzingis responded to an Instagram comment that asked if he would play against the Lakers, and he said “yes.” We’ll see what the injury report says officially, but it seems likely that he will suit up in a matchup between the current No. 2 seeds in each conference. His return, along with the potential return of Al Horford, would limit the minutes of Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta.

White added six assists and three boards. He sank just 2-of-10 triples after going off for 41 points and knocking down 9-of-17 shots from beyond the arc on Wednesday. He went to the locker room after taking an elbow to the face and losing a tooth early in the fourth quarter, but he returned, so fantasy managers shouldn’t expect him to miss any time. Superstitious Celtics fans may be excited over the dental injury, as White lost a tooth in the decisive Game 5 of last season’s NBA Finals when Boston closed out Dallas to win the championship.

Though Boston won this one handily, Tatum’s scoring was certainly needed. He scored 35 on 14-of-23 shooting while the other four starters combined for 27 points on 12-of-31 shooting. Tatum went 5-of-11 from downtown, while the other starters hit just 2-of-13. Fortunately for Tatum, the bench trio of Torrey Craig, Baylor Scheierman and Payton Pritchard delivered 46 points and nine three-pointers, but this was a game in which Tatum needed to step up, and he answered the call.

The rookie out of Creighton came into this one averaging just over six minutes per game across 15 appearances for the Celtics. With so many injuries across the roster, Boston was forced to lean on Scheierman, Neemias Queta, Torrey Craig and Drew Peterson. Scheierman was the best of that group, and he set a number of career highs, including points, three-pointers, assists and minutes. Don’t expect a repeat performance unless Boston is decimated with injuries again.

Hauser started Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers but struggled, shooting 2-of-9 from the field, and a sprained right ankle may have been a factor. If he can play against the 76ers, Hauser will likely remain in the starting lineup, as Jaylen Brown (knee) has been ruled out. Thursday’s game will be Porzingis’s fourth-straight absence due to illness. Horford started and played 31 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers. Horford’s failure to play both games of a back-to-back is unsurprising, as this has been the case for a few seasons. While Brown played in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers, Holiday has missed Boston’s last three games. Thursday makes four straight on the sideline for Holiday, and his absence boosts the values of Derrick White and Payton Pritchard, who combined to score 84 points on Wednesday. Back in the lineup after sitting out Tuesday’s win over the Bulls, Mobley recorded his 28th double-double of the season on Wednesday. By comparison, he had 22 in the entire 2023-24 campaign. Since the All-Star break, the Cavaliers forward has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats. Mobley’s return pushed De’Andre Hunter to the bench, but that didn’t prevent him from delivering value. Hunter played 23 minutes, finishing with 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot.

Wednesday night, Garland hit double digits in assists for the sixth time this season and first since February 2. However, the issue for him has been his shooting, especially since the All-Star break. Garland is shooting 34 percent from the field, 14 points below his mark for the season (48.1). While his season-long fantasy value remains strong, managers need Garland to turn the shooting around heading into the playoff weeks.

Wednesday’s victory made the Cavaliers the first team to clinch a playoff spot, and Mitchell led the way. He’s scored 25 points or more in three straight and six of his last seven games, providing fifth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats since the All-Star break. While that doesn’t align with Mitchell’s season-long fantasy value, his availability will be the more significant concern for fantasy managers. Cleveland holds a sizable lead on Boston for the best record in the East, which could result in a few more rest days for Mitchell before the end of the regular season.

Hauser replaced the injured Jayson Tatum in the Celtics’ lineup for Wednesday’s game and offered minimal value in the role. He shot 1-of-8 from beyond the arc, which spelled doom for those who streamed Hauser expecting a few three-pointers and a respectable point total. He did grab six rebounds, but that will not impact category league matchups much when the overall stat line is underwhelming.

Brown’s shooting percentages weren’t the best, but it didn’t matter on a night when Payton Pritchard and Derrick White combined to score 84 points on 24-of-46 shooting. However, JB did provide value in the rebound and assist categories, dishing out eight helpers for the second consecutive game. Brown has been ranked just outside the top-50 in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, which is superior to his season-long value.

White and Payton Pritchard put on a show for the home folks, becoming the first tandem in Celtics history to score 40 points or more in the same game. Like his sidekick, White established new career highs in points (41) and three-pointers (nine) on Wednesday. Since the All-Star break, the Celtics guard has provided top-10 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. With the Celtics down multiple starters on Wednesday, Pritchard had plenty of room to make things happen offensively. And he put on a show, establishing career-highs in points (43) and three-pointers (10). And Wednesday’s performance may be the one that locks up the Sixth Man of the Year award for Pritchard.

Tatum and Holiday are among the Celtics starters who will not be available for Wednesday’s game. The latter will miss a third-straight game with a finger injury and does not have a timeline for return. Garland struggled from inside the arc on Tuesday, making two of his 11 attempts. He was far more accurate from deep, shooting 5-of-11 from three. Mitchell returned to the Cavaliers’ lineup after getting Sunday afternoon off and made good use of the foul line in Chicago. Allen provided a modest point total on Sunday, but the Cavaliers center finished with his 33rd double-double. Allen’s fantasy value has taken a hit since the All-Star break, as he has only been an 11th-round player in eight-cat formats. However, while Evan Mobley continues to emerge as an elite option on both ends of the floor, Allen’s fantasy value has not fallen off a cliff. Starting in place of Donovan Mitchell (rest), Hunter did not provide much value during the first half of Sunday’s game, going scoreless with one shot attempt. Rostered in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Hunter provides late-round value in 12-team formats, but that’s his ceiling due to the limited production outside of points, rebounds and three-pointers.
