It’s no surprise that Horford is listed as doubtful after playing 32 minutes on Friday night. Kristaps Porzingis (illness) is listed as probable and will likely replace him in the starting lineup. Tatum and Brown were both questionable Friday against the Heat with Brown sitting out and Tatum scoring 28 points in the victory. Goodwin was one of the replacements in the Lakers’ starting lineup Friday night. While the scoring wasn’t there, he provided solid value in his 34 minutes. Like Jarred Vanderbilt (9/7/7/3 with one three-pointer in 24 minutes), Goodwin is a deep-league dart throw for fantasy managers left to go deep into the waiver wire for additional depth. With Luka Doncic potentially returning on Sunday, there’s no need to add Goodwin or Vanderbilt for the Lakers’ final Week 19 game against the Suns.

Injuries led to Knecht’s second start in three games, and the rookie had a big night in the Mile High City. Shooting just under 50 percent from the field, the 32 points were the second-most Knecht has scored in a game this season. While he remains rostered in 25 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Knecht is ranked outside the top 250 in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. He isn’t a player who has to be rostered in most leagues, but Friday’s performance will keep him in some lineups until LeBron James returns from his strained groin.

After returning from a calf strain that sidelined him for two games, Reaves’ first few outings weren’t up to his standards as a scorer. He shot below 25 percent from the floor in two of his first three games back, and he shot below 45 percent in all three. He won’t continue to be quite as hot as he was on Thursday, but it was encouraging to see him have an uber-efficient night, since he is more than capable of that type of production. After shooting 8-of-25 from the field during Monday’s loss to Brooklyn, Doncic had a much better night shooting the ball. His seven three-pointers were a new season-high, and his 45 points tied his season-high, which he set back in one of his final games as a Maverick this December. Unfortunately, he didn’t enjoy the same efficiency as a playmaker. He had 12 assists on Monday, but he only had three in this one and had twice as many turnovers as he did dimes. Doncic has at least five turnovers in seven straight games. After the game, Doncic was asked if he’d play the second night of the Lakers’ back-to-back in Denver, and he said “we’ll see.” Managers should keep an eye on the injury report ahead of that game, as Dalton Knecht could return to the starting unit.

Both of Boston’s superstar wings are questionable to play against Miami, and it is important to note that this is the first game of a back-to-back, with the second leg against Brooklyn. It is unlikely that both Tatum and Brown play in both games, though sitting out against the tanking Nets feels more likely. Joe Mazzulla could opt to stagger their availability or play both against Miami. It’s unclear at this point, but Sam Hauser would likely move into the starting unit if one or both miss a game. No LeBron James (groin) meant even more defensive attention was devoted to Doncic on Monday, and his shot suffered. The Lakers guard shot 32 percent from the field, but he did record his second triple-double since the trade. James will miss at least two weeks, so Doncic’s already-high usage will likely increase.
